EDIT - we have a winner !!!
APOCALYPSTIK (suggested on Warren's personal FBK page)
*** Help us name the other kick-ass, all-girl metal band in our new movie Dirty Tuppence - The Movie - which shoots in Jan 2019 ***
... We have decided our original idea for the name of the band Dirty Tuppence are supporting on tour -"Clitosaurus Rex" - can be bettered, and also be less vulgar and "controversial".
So ... suggestions for a very cool name for a kick-ass, all-female girl rock band are being gathered !
And the one we decide on will receive some very tasty rewards connected to the movie shoot in Jan 2018 !!!

Went to grindhouse last night 18/2/17 not the first time I have been but by far the best night I've had there. The atmosphere was amazing and Warren is an absolute legend playing some punk for us and generally just being a really nice guy. Music was fab dancers were awesome (especially the new male lol) can't wait until next month :)

User

Wasn't old enough to go to the Mayfair but i've heard the stories and it sounded awesome! Know there were people who attended used to go there from my sis and decided to go the other day.

Was pretty EPIC with the music and all. 1 Moment that made me laugh was the conga line to 'Ozzy Osbourne's Crazy Train' .

Hope to go there again and meet different people ^_^

User

The best rock/metal night in Newcastle (in my not so humble opinion). Great atmosphere, great crowd & I'm there every month, what more could you want?

User

Sad to say im a 50yr old that used to love the doll. Never knew this place existed until one of the barmaids at trillians told me it was on Saturday night. Absolutely loved it shame we didn't get there a bit earlier. Respect and thanks to the lady barmaid dont know your name but you would remember the posse of 3 old boys that got lost the 1st time around and came back.

User

One of the best hidden places in Newcastle for a good night out. The rock music is outstanding from start to finish! !

User

One of my favourite rock nights out of all time

User

Ofcourse I am going to put 5 stars because I am a dancer here ;) but it's a great night out if you like your rock music! Skull buckets are always great to drink too!

User

My first time coming and I have to say I will be back again! Was an amazing night, good songs and friendly people! :) xx

User

It's a awesome night out with friendly punters and staff. The drinks are cheap and it's a very good lay out inside.

User

I'm biased but at my age I've also been to a lot of rock nights and this is up there with the very best of them. Awesome music, atmosphere and cheap beer. What more could you ask for? Oh yeah the girls that very kindly dance on stage to make sure we don't get bored waiting for Pervo to play the Mission lol

User

Good venue cheap beer good music and weirdos everywhere just what you need on a night out , live fast die young as great philosopher once said haha

User

First visit to grindhouse and it was class.

Real mix of rock music from 80s classics right up to the present. The uni offers a good bar and quality venue too, for all ages.

On the same night I also popped into rise at grays club, there is a rabbit Warren of rooms, think Mayfair gearbox, and a terrace playing classics. That's open every Saturday. It's not as classy as grindhouse, is like a party in a squat, but it is full of youthful energy.

Grindhouse is the better of the two but rock is alive and kicking in Newcastle!

Also see lockdown Newcastle and mini Mayfair.

User

First time I ever went. It was bloody fantastic! Great people, great music and a great place. I will definitely be returning next month
