H & M Construction Ltd

We were asked to sort out this customers paving area which had moved over the years making it useable in it’s current state. We needed to find solid ground, hardcore and concrete shutter pillars for steel beams to sit onto to make a solid base for the new decking area.

Here is a few pictures of the front parking/drop off zone and path down to the Pathway which we completed in phase 3 of the works at the end of January.

H & M Construction Ltd are looking to recruit to our team: General Labourer to help in all aspects of works. Experience preferred but not essential. Stone mason/General Builder who can undertake all aspects of construction. Applicants must have a driving licence, work well in a team, polite, punctual and be competent to work on their own jobs. On going Summer house and landscaping job almost complete.

Phase 3 of The Pathway was completed at the end of December. We will be doing the external ground works in February to complete the whole project.

Oak handrails with Rebar infill and Cedar Cladding to the garden/summer/winter room added to this job over the weekend.

We’re currently on with the final Phase (3) of Middleton Methodist Church.

An ongoing Building/landscaping job we’ve been doing on weekends and nights for a while now is starting to take shape. Hopefully have phase one completed this year (weather permitting).

A Stone slate roof recently stripped including existing velux roof windows. New YBS breatherfelt, 4x Velux roof lights and stone slates re-fitted. One chimney was part took down and both hacked out and the-pointed in lime mortar mix.

A garage extension with an additional habitable room made above which included the original roof stripped, new attic trusses, insulation and slates fitted we recently completed.

If the boys, make it to the final on Sunday H&M Construction have decided to give all our hard working staff Monday off with full pay.... #ItsComingHome #TeamGame

We had a great time on Friday at the 2018 LABC Building Excellence Awards held at the Hilton Hotel, Gateshead. Most categories only selected the overall winners, although we didn't win our category out right, our job (Chantmarle, Mickleton) was awarded with "Highly Commended" as the panel thought it was a hard decision to separate us and the winner. We are very happy and proud to have been awarded this when seeing the other much bigger job's and companies we were up against. This award is for all the staff at H & M Construction Ltd, we thank you and appreciate all the hard work and effort everyone put's in week after week.

We’re after a labourer for around 4-6weeks work at the minute but could turn into a longer period or even full time position. To help in all aspects of the building trade. Must have driving license, and have a good attitude to work and be able to work with others. Construction work experience preferred but not essential.

Just had some good news to hear that H & M Construction Ltd has been shortlisted as a finalist for the Northern LABC Building Excellence Awards 2018 in the Best Extension or Alteration to an Existing home for our work we did at Chantmarle, Mickleton. We built a three storey extension compromising of a garage, living room, master bedroom and lift shaft. Take a look in our photo's to see this project. Massive thank you to all the staff at H&M who help us to be the company we are, looking forward to the award night on 15th June at the Hilton Hotel in Newcastle.
