Had a meal here with the family after a trip to the theatre. It was quiet when we first arrived because it had only just opened but my the time we were taken to our grill - can’t really call it a table, the place was filling up fast. This place isn’t just about the food it’s about the experience and we really enjoyed it! The staff/chefs were all friendly, it was quick efficient service and the chefs all interacted with those they were cooking for. The food was all good, my family are not great fish eaters - so most of us had steaks from the a la Carter menu- and it was all beautifully cooked. It’s very sociable - we ended up talking to others at the grill next to ours and a couple who shared our grill. They really enjoyed their experience too. We all agreed that we’d definitely go back.

Celebrated my partners 30th birthday here last night (25/11/17) with our friends and it was fantastic! Our chef was just the best, he provided us our entertainment and the whole experience was superb! Will definitely be back, this was mine and my partners first time!

Booked a table for 11 for a family 70th Birthday for bank holiday tonight. At the last minute upped it to 14 people which they squeezed us in and more than accommodated for. Fabulous and efficient staff throughout the night and great entertainment from our chef to make it an enjoyable and memorable night. Love this place for 'something different' especially for a celebration. The manager too is always approachable and friendly. Another fab night. Thank you �

Absolutely brilliant perfect service! Food is unbelievable and cooked right in front of you! None stop laughs and you will never be sat with a empty glass!

Popped in for dinner alone, whilst working away in newcastle. It was very quiet, as I was quite early, but I noticed some Japanese eating in the restaurant and thought this was a good sign. Ordered salmon, which was cooked in front of me. Delicious! I saw some of the Japanese people’s food (which kept on coming..), and it looked fabulous (nothing was left on their plates!) Sadly, no real interaction from the staff (only a little from the chef), but overall, a lovely meal!

Terrible service booked a table for 10 people we were rushed into ordering then rushed off the table after 1 Hour and 15 minuted before our deserts and coffees put in a grotty room

downstairs. Obviously over booked no apologies or even a complementary drink for our inconvenience. I won’t be going back the food was ok
