stayed here one night as we were down for a concert and it’s a short walk into town . Turned out to be a great choice from arriving and chatting with the lovely Meg ,to our early departure . The rooms are basic but spotless and comfortable . We had a room at the front on a busy road and with the window shut it was very quiet . Our room was a good size with a double bed , single bed and bunk beds , for just the two of us ! It also had a wardrobe , dressing table , chair and bedside cabinet . Small adequate bathroom with shower.

This is a no frills hotel which is reflected in the great price but I would not hesitate to book here again if coming to Newcastle . We didn’t have breakfast as we left early and it was too cold to use the outside seating area at the front so can’t comment on those but the breakfast /bar area looked lovely . Just bring your own hairdryer and toiletries . Would highly recommend !

Stayed here for my henny.....what a great choice � Meg was lovely she couldn’t do more to help us all! The rooms were perfect for what we all needed. The breakfast looked amazing but I never ate as I was too rough but the guy who cooked it was a good laugh too. Thanks again for the great stay !!

Recently stayed for my stag weekend. Meg the owner is sure to make you feel welcome and make your trip great. Great location within a 5 minute walk to the centre with a Wetherspoons en-Route. Rooms are a good size and anything we needed Meg had such as an Iron, Hair-Dryer etc. Definately recommend this place and will be back when next in Newcastle!

Perfect hotel for a Hen Party in Newcastle. Great atmosphere and ideal for lots of people getting together. We had the benefit of good weather so spent lots of time outside, it was great fitting nearly 30 round one table. Thank you so much to Meg, your hotel is fab! ���

Just stayed there from friday 11th and sat 12th april,for lornas hen do, well it was the best experience ever, so well run, chilled with a fantastic party atmosphere. breakfast lovely, just absolutely perfect for a great weekend. thankyou so much, will be back xx

Just spent a weekend here with my daughter, what a lovely, homely hotel this is. Rooms are spotless, beds are great, lovely bathroom and good shower, Tea/coffee facilities in bedroom and the host Meg is lovely, as are the other girls (sorry not sure of their names!) lol.. nice and handy for the town centre, about a 10 minute stroll away, would definitely recommend this place x

Just came home from my hen weekend and we stayed here, the hotel was lovely, Meg was so welcoming and friendly and made our stay as comfortable as possible. All in all we will definitely stay here again when we come back, the highlight for me definitely goes to our wonderful minibus driver Pete. He went above and beyond his duties and truly did make my weekend extra special! Thank you Pete and Meg xxx

If there was a 10* option it still wouldn't be enough. Absolutely fantastic! Just returned from my stag do and what a little gem this place is. From Meg looking after our hangovers to Peter dancing around the minibus on the way to quad biking it was just a fantastic place with great people. If I ever visit again I'll 110% be staying here.

I've stayed here now a couple of times with my Twin.who has learning disabilities.Meg and her staff are AMAZING.Even looking my twin last year .when she couldn't get home to Carlisle because of floods.It's the only place I.ll stay now as my twin is so relaxed here.THANK YOU X

Hotel is 10 mins from town and is run by a lovely lady called Meg who can't do enough for you .. So thanks for making our weekend the wee bit extra special ..we will be back �

Had such a great weekend staying here in Newcastle for my friends Stag do - we booked last minute and got a really good deal. The landlady was so friendly she couldn't do enough for us !! Would definatly recommend this hotel for stags/hens or even couples. The rooms are decent and they are kept clean too.

Fantastic stay at hansen hotel, came down from scotland for the weekend visiting family! highly recommend so close to city centre loads of stuff around. Also loved theres a shop straight across the road that open to 11pm! room was class & staff were amazing i'l 100% be back

Come here a couple of times a year! And we couldn't or wouldn't stay anywhere else.. Meg is literally like our 2nd Mammy and always makes sure we are okay! ���

Brilliant hotel and definitely use Peachy Pete!!! Cheap, reliable and so much fun! He went above and beyond expectations... Even took us to get chicken and chips, got us nightclub entries and booked our table for breakfast without being asked! He was fantastic! Meg was so welcoming, will be back one day!!
