Today is the #DragonBoat (Duan Wu Jień½»ÕŹłĶŖé) Festival in China. On this day the most widespread activities for the festival are eating (and preparing) #zongzi, drinking realgar wine, and racing dragon boats. Children particularly like the preparing and eating zongzi (sticky rice dumplings) part! It's may difficult to imagine what it is like, so we invited Hollywood stars to demonstrate for you!

We were here last night for my husband birthday thr food was lovely and the serve was very good will be back

Thanks for a really great night all of my kids even the fussy one had a great night the food was amazing and the staff went the extra mile to make sure we made the most of it

My brother and I stopped here for dinner yesterday, all staff were polite and attentive. The food was incredible... we have tried a fair few ChineseŌĆÖs in the past and we both agreed this is the best we have had!

ItŌĆÖs got to be the best place in Newcastle for authentic excellent Chinese food... I can honestly say I have never had a bad meal here. Great value for money two menus available try something from the authentic Chinese menu unbelievable flavours... excellent customer service ­¤ÆĢ

I eat here quite regularly from the Chinese menu. This may sound strange in a Chinese Restuarant but it is the one with dim sum and more traditional food. I believe it is the oldest Chinese restaurant in Newcastle and well worth a visit

Come here with my son every time where in Newcastle and he a very fussy eater but loves the chicken curry from here and only place he'll eat the chicken from always a good visit ­¤æŹ­¤Å╗

Great food, ate off the popular not the chinese menu. Nicest chinese i have had in Newcastle absolutely gorgeous.Great atmosphere staff couldn't be nicer. We arrived very late but they still let us order we didn't leave until way after the closing time definitely no complaints and will definitely be back.

Been coming here for ast 20 years when previews owners had it food is brilliant, , service was good although not very friendly, very rushed and the lady manager seemed a bit angry , not the best time , but hopefully just a blip

Rather disappointing

Dim sum was pretty ok, nothing amazing or note worthy. The staff seemed to be totally miserable, no eye contact, no acknowledgement when passing them, no goodbye on exit, they really didn't want to be there.

All ways loved the food here.But last visit was not a good one..The chicken and mushroom was all slimey.the chicken was like rubber.The chicken curry was all powdery.So if we go bk we won't order any of them meals..I hope this restaurant picks it's self bk up..As we have came here for years..

Been meaning to try this places for a while, such a shame the service was so terrible. We were seated by a young waiter, thr only thing he said to us was "can you order quickly as we're clearing up soon" tbh we should have left then but we ordered and asked for our starters and mains to come together. Food it pretty nice so cant complain there however towards the end of the meal he actually stood over us and cleared away the dishes/cutlery he assumed we were finished with to the extent that I had to use my finger to get the food into my folk as he's taken my knife. He then watched me pop the last mouthful in then whipped my plate away!!! A real shame as its somewhere I'd like to go back to for the food but the service is so off putting. If we were too late to eat I'd rather they have just turned us away from the begining.

You have lost 2 customer today as you have a poor service mind waiter, the Chinese one that wearing eye glasses. I think your manager should told him to practice about manner and verbal skill. His personality is fucking rude as his is working as a service person in restaurant. I dont mind if he is a son of an owner or not. Please ask him one question that if education doesnt teach you anything about cultural or emotional intelligent. You are just a FAILURE person who study aboard.



Lastly, I hope you will considered this message and improve something. You are running restaurant in UK not in China. Everyone is your customer regardless where are they from. If you think that just Chinese people here you can still run your business, you also FAILURE.

Used to come here years ago..service not good now..food nice but ordered dry fried chicken n it was swimming in sauce..went after lunch time special n to b honest was very expensive for what we got..shame!!

This was the first time I had ever been treated this way in a restaurant. The waiter was rude from the beggining to the end with unpleasant comments everytime someone at the table was asking for something.

They offer a student discount but you discover at the end that if at the table not everybody is a student you cannot benefit from this discount. So why mentionning student discount? You also discover at the end that you cannot be two persons from the same table to pay by card. How do you do if you don't have cash? These policies are written in chinese in the restaurant but as an European how can you know? I was chocked by the rudeness of the waitor and to be treated like "vermin" when I was, actually, the customer.

Poor customer service, so miserable my son hasnŌĆÖt been off the toilet all day not be returning!
