It's Love Parks week all this week, so why not participate by finding the heart by the kiosk and taking a selfie, adding #LoveParks and telling us what you love about the park! The theme this year is 'It started in a Park...' so have a think what your favourite memories of Happy Mount Park are!
We love our Splash Park in the summer, but remember when it was a paddling pool? Do you remember going on the train when you were young?

Hello! Please read the general information about the Splash Park and buying your tickets below before contacting us:
The Splash Park sessions run from 10:30am – 12:15pm, 12:30pm – 2:15pm, 2:30pm – 4:15pm, 4:30pm – 6:15pm. Wristbands for these sessions are available to purchase only from the green kiosk in the park, in person, on the day of your visit. We unfortunately do not accept any advanced booking over the phone or online (except for school bookings, please see website f...or more details).
The kiosk opens at 10am daily so you can buy your wristbands for any session on that day to ensure you don’t miss out on your desired session time. As we are not a very large facility and we only allow a maximum of 400 people in at one time for safety reasons, we do tend to sell out on hot days, the weekends, and school holidays, so please plan your journey accordingly.
Wristbands are just £1 per person for everyone wishing to enter the facility, not just people playing in the water (except for babies not using the water and carers with ID). Changing huts are also available in the Splash Park, but toilets are situated outside.

We love the wildlife in our park! There are currently 3 duck families living in the ponds in the Japanese Gardens, as well as lots of cheeky squirrels among many other animals. 🦆🐿️🐸🦋🐌 If you decide to feed our ducks, please bring seeds, grains and even grapes instead of bread to keep them healthy.

User

Wow every town needs a happy mount play area please come to Bolton

Amazing areas clean tidy

All your staff were lovely and friendly

User

This is a great park, been coming here for a number of Years now, never leave disappointed, some people are complaining that they are now charging to use the splash zone, personally I think £1 per person for nearly 2 hours of fun is great value for money and they have also limited entries to 400 people per session which stops the over crowding and all the above probably helps with the upkeep. Anyone complaining this costs too Much needs their head testing! They have ample play areas and some small rides which my kids enjoy and they also have a cafe for a brew and a bite to eat so if you want a good cheap day out then definitely come to happy mount park😊

User

Peefect place in the heat. Loved it. And water park play time is perfect as well. Well worth visit.

User

My little boys loved it!! Perfect place for a day out. Very cheap parking next to park and opposite beach... £1.40 all day. Will definitely be returning

User

My daughter loves it here; great staff and great park. Yes you pay for a few bits (quid here and there) but still works out cheaper than a lot of other options.

User

Lovely place to take children/grandchildren or just as a couple. Lovely picnic areas and plenty to do for the kiddies.

User

Had a really fantastic time here today with our two boys and dog. The boys absolutely loved the splash park! Great day out!

User

Had a brilliant time here with my husband & munchkin. Sun was shining, had read others reviews so parked on the sea front and took plenty of coins and our swimming things. Spent all day having fun, bought our tickets for the splash park and enjoyed the beautiful gardens. Didn't have food in the cafe but soft drinks and ice lollies were reasonably enough priced as you would expect. Great day out!

User

Great day out and value for money. The splash park is amazing just make sure you get there early enough to avoid disappointment!!

User

Fantastic! Absolutely loved it, something for everyone and perfect on a sunny day! Our one year old was in her element

User

Fab day out with our daughter. She loved the splash park. Very cheap brill day out. Just wish we could have booked online for the splash park before hand to save the panic of it getting booked up.

User

Amazing park with lots to do for various ages we went on sun 6 may and arrived at 215 pm and the 230 slot for splash park was full so we bought tickets for 430 and then Went to the park bit my little boy age 11 with asd by 3 clock was struggling with waiting and was beginning with a huge meltdown we walked to the splash park and spoke to a lovely lad on the gate who could see he was struggling I explained we had bands for 430 and my son had additional needs asd and was there any chance we could go in earlier he said come straight in my brother is asd I understand I was with 4 other children they went in but my son was struggling massively and couldn't go in we tried for a short time but he had to go home as he couldnt cope dad took him home I stayed with the others I would like to say a massive thank you to your staff I'm sorry I didn't get his name he's a credit to the park for understanding hidden disabilities massive thanks for your patience and time and understanding maybe next time my son will enjoy and I will get your name I did thank him again on our way out so he will know who he is but he needs a pat on the back from his boss

User

Absolutely gorgeous park with lots to do and fantastic facilities, great day out for all the family and we enjoyed a walk down the promenade afterwards, well worth the £1 for the splash park and I've seen comments complaining they were charged aswel but I've been twice now and I've never been charged to watch

User

The park is lovely. Charges too much in parts and for parents too. Parking though . Sunday red hot day and bank hol weekend just gone. All side streets full. All along the front full. Only carpark was £1 for 4 hours. Good. Full to bursting. When we got in it there was a line of cars parked in the middle so we joined them. No obstructions etc. Everyone got a parking ticket Hundreds. The traffic warden in his element. Nice bonus. Travel with kids from mcr what we supposed to do ? Take the car back home and walk ? Advertise to come with kids and no where to park. So very wrong. Big park needs big parking.

Ended up a bloody dear do.

User

The park is brilliant very busy we went bank holiday Monday down side is the parking it was non existent other than on the pavement. I know people will say you shouldn’t park on pavements but access was well wide enough for any one with or without trolley disabled wheel chair access was fine. SHAME ON COUNCIL every car had a ticket traffic warden was a right arrogant little shit. He said I have had to walk over half a mile to get here to do my job he said utter chaos here. I don’t think he walks half a mile was a little chubster. Actually cars were parked all over but not blocking roads or anything. Council must have made a fortune and shame on them for not highlighting that you park here you will get stung with a £70 fine. It’s only London I believe that you can not park on the pavement other places it states you should not park on. Is it even LEGAL to give tickets when no obstruction being caused. I may be wrong but check out RAC guide lines on parking tickets.

User

Came here today with my family travelled 2 hrs to get here parked up then went to ticket office where they said all sessions where fully booked for the splash pool which my son was very upset and so was I, we went in the playground which we had to pay a £1 each which was ok but the guy who was taking the money didn't even say thanku or please and was very abrupt with us probly won't go here again to be honest didn't have a good time .

User

Came last year and the kids loved it, drove an hour & half this this morning to find you now have to pay a £1 each (great value for money and no issue paying it) however all sessions where fully booked! So came away with 2 disappointed children! The splash park is obviously going to be very popular when the weather is so nice so why not have 1 hr sessions instead of 2!! On the board it says each session allowed 400 people however walking past mid way through a session it was clear to see there was not 400 people there!! So maybe 2hrs is too long and they are leaving half way through!! We all know councils love to make extra money so by limiting the sessions to an hour you can double your money!! (Making you around 3k per day!!) and this would make it accessible to more kids!!

User

Turned up at the park today at 4.30pm. Sad to say all the staff were closing everything. Park open till 9pm but nothing else is. Very stupid during the summer holidays. Won't be back. And the toilets!! 20p to get in. Absolutely disgusting. Water so hot hands were burnt. Extremely poor. Staff at trampolines as they were packing up were just complaining about there jobs. Terrible for a family park.

User

This will be the last time we come here. As a family we have taken over children over the past couple of years to the splash park when it was free but never again. I understand wiv the hot weather that for safety reasons only a certain amount of people can use it but to charge family’s something that used to be free is ridiculous.
