Harvey'S House Description
The house is a very ordinary semi in a very ordinary street. It has 2 bedrooms – 1 double and the second with 2 x single beds. bathroom with shower. Lounge with log burner. Large fully fitted kitchen. Conservatory. patio area. A fully secure garden – the back gate opens onto a large green area – great for those easy morning / pre bedtime toileting (for the four legged friends! ) The house is totally dog friendly – all sofa's have Poppy and Harvey's approval! There is parking on the front drive and on-street parking with no restrictions. Basically the house is great for those folk who love to take their dogs with them on holiday without the worry of them damaging precious furniture etc – the house is comfortable and clean without being fussy. Dogs are free of charge.

We have just spent a wonderful week at Harvey`s House, an extremely dog friendly home from home. At the rear of the property is a large safe green with access from the garden and only five minutes walk away a larger area with pond ideal for those early /late walks .
Harvey`s House served as an excellent base for our days out in both Newcastle and Northumberland being just seven miles from the city centre and the beaches.
The Scottish border is only an hours drive north with many sites to enjoy along the way and a great deal being dog friendly.
Hadrians wall and stunning countryside walks are only forty minutes west, Northumberland national park is about an hours drive.
All areas are easily reached from the house with excellent road links.
Newcastle K9 group has a premises near by (two minutes drive) that supplies raw food and there is a chest freezer a the house.
There is also a Morrisons and One stop five minutes drive away.
We would recommend Harvey`s House for anyone wishing to explore this area and hope to travel back again next year.
We had a lovely weekend at Harvey's House! The house is very cosy and dog friendly. We enjoyed a night out in Newcastle and a trip to Blyth beach with our dogs. We'd love to go again soon. Thanks Linda x

Had a fantastic week at Harvey's House Sept 23 - 30 2017. A home from home with a secure garden, a green opposite and a large field at rear of house accessed by a gate - perfect for first and last toilet stops for the dogs! Ideally situated just 5 mins walk from nature reserve, 5 mins drive from a country park and shopping centre and 15 mins to nearest beach. A great base from which to explore beautiful Northumberland. Highly recommend a stay here. Very reasonably priced. Already planning next years visit!
