Residents at HC-One’s Forthbank in Kildean, Stirling have been involved in a street design projects to create more scenic and safe walking routes for the older community.
The new walking routes have been designed to provide dementia-friendly, colourful trails to places of interest from the home. Residents have now been shown the final designs and were pleased to see their ideas brought to life.
One Resident commented: “These new routes will make a huge difference when it come...s to getting out and about for a nice walk.”
Yvonne Graham, Home Manager at Forthbank said: “It was great for Residents to be involved with this new project, the final designs are amazing and we are so excited for the new walking routes to be introduced.”
