Here is some additional support for those living in washington .
Hi everyone, Please find the following message from Gavin (Our Vicar). As we enter the period of shielding and increased social distancing as the government has called it... if you are self isolating either because you have contracted Coronavirus or you are part of the high risk group and need some help please do contact the church office and we will see how we can help you. You can either email info@oxclosechurch.org.uk or call 0191 431 2568 and leave a message on the answer phone which will be checked on a regular basis. We have some volunteers who are able to help with shopping, to talk on the phone etc... if you would also like to be part of this list of people willing to help others please email me: churchleader@oxclosechurch.org.uk

Thank you for your support and understanding, dont forget we are only a phone call away

From the Galleries medical centre.
We have taken the decision to move all appointments to telephone appointments. We are not saying patients can't be seen we simply need to reduce unnecessary movement and ensure all patients are triaged first. We kindly ask that you do not attend the surgery without speaking to a clinician first. All patients that have booked appointments will be contacted.
... We have not taken this decision lightly and understand this may be frustrating but patient and staff safety is of the highest importance to us.
For routine advice please go to www.galleriesmedicalpractice.nhs.uk and submit an E-consultation.
