Broke the Helen's Hummus record for number of pots sold at Stokesley Farmer's Market today, which is incredible, as I thought I'd taken way too much stock! Thank you to everyone who ordered hummus tonight - we've delivered to Redcar, Middlesbrough, Linthorpe, Acklam, Marton, Billingham, Yarm, Hartburn, Ingleby Barwick, Eaglescliffe and Thornaby... I had to rope in my Mam, my husband and my father-in-law to help out (thanks Mam and Sean and Mick). The response to my last post was just incredible - it reached 6,500 people and was shared over 60 times. Absolutely fantastic stuff 👍

Everyone pray for sunshine please!! It's really difficult to make Pease Pudding look pretty, I've tried every filter and now I'm giving up and just going to say "try it, it's flippin' delicious".
I took far too few pots of this to Stewart Park yesterday - sorry to those who were disappointed - but fear not, because this wholesale order was delivered to Yarm Butchers in Ingleby Barwick earlier today. It'll be on sale there from tomorrow.

I love trying new food at the farmers markets. The Little Korean introduced me the wonders of Kimchi and Bibimap; Colt House Farm introduced me to Ouso Bocco (hope I'm spelling these words correctly!) and today the lovely Caroline from Caroline's Homemade Preserves introduced me to Sikil Pak. It's sooooo tasty. Quite similar to hummus, really savoury and full of flavour. I will enjoy cooking with this. Can't even describe how much I love this job!!

Afternoon all, I'm sorry to say I've decided to pull out of Wynyard Farmer's Market. This is for family reasons. I quit my 'payroll' job to save money on childcare and be around more for the children. So when I set Helen's Hummus up, it was very much with the ethos of "this will fit around my family, not vice versa". When the kids are older, I will work every market possible!!
Thank you very much to all my Wynyard customers for your support. This is a fantastic little market and I'll continue to support it as a customer. Meanwhile, I'm still trading at Stewart Park and Stokesley Farmer's Markets.

Ways to use up leftover hummus: mix it with chopped tomatoes, spread on a pizza base (or in this case, half a baguette) sprinkle with your favourite toppings (I used ham and cheese) then bake in the oven. Delicious 🍅

Trying the skinny roast pepper hummus and the skinny caramelised onion .. delicious . You can definitely taste the ingredients.

Would love a little stronger flavour in the caramelised onion . Can highly recommend for a nice treat if your watching your figure

Today I had jalapeño hummus and smoked bbq flavour, they were so delicious and I'll be ordering more and telling family and friends about it.

Their pease pudding and smokey bbq hummus is to die for!

The green olive hummus is one of the best things I've ever tasted! Will certainly be purchasing more at the next Yarm farmers' market!!

Just had my first delivery from Helen this evening . Lovely lady and gorgeous products! I got the skinny smoked Bbq and skinny roasted tomato and basil. Very tasty! Asked Helen how long the use by date was (Monday) to be fair it won't last that long ! Looking forward to trying other flavours .
