Had the most amazing day today - trying out new cleaning products by Stablemate by AGMA. little bit of demo work with great instruction from the filming team Visual Punch it really has been a fantastic experience for us all. We have used some amazing products for the stables that are going to make life so much easier. Pics will come tomorrow and when I've been given the footage I will share that too. Don't worry I will still love you all when I'm famous.
Thanks to Babsy and... Suzi for being great as per and thanks to Pippa and James for making the day so enjoyable.

Winter routine is now under way at Hagg Hill. After walking up to the fields on Sunday and them all trying to follow me out.. I kinda figured they were ready to be in. Past three nights now they have all been tucked up and cosy. :) we do enjoy our bed time haynets and skip outs. Bedding down and making sure they are happy and content.. :) I love a happy yard of munching horses... even in the wind🐎🐴🦄🐎🐴🦄

Our beautiful cottage is set in the stunning Derwent Valley. It's the perfect romantic getaway, a fantastic base to explore the surrounding tourist attractions. The cottage sleeps 4. 1 king size bed, 1 double sofa bed and we can provide a travel cot for an infant. We do allow 2 very small dogs or 1 medium dog. We also accommodate for horses... why not contact us to discuss bringing your horse away you for a small nightly charge.

Seperate grazing in small herds with brand new fencing (no barbed wire) Horses come in to rest through the day and are out at night in the summer. Winter they turn out through the day ...and come in before dark Soon to have electric gates to entrance for added security. Owner lives on site. 20x40 flood lit arena Plenty of hacking in the Derwent Valley

Where has the year gone? In two days 29.07.2017 I officially took ownership of Hagg Hill Farm. It has been quite the journey. we have faced many difficulties along the way but we have many more achievements than we have failures. I as a first time business owner have had to learn fast, in at the deep end in my very own fairy tale whirlwind; often unable to even catch my breath. We have had to say goodbye to some special horses along the way and we have been saddened to do s...o but it was a pleasure having the horses and the owners here for their own personal duration. We have transformed the yard that was very run down into the beautiful peaceful place it is today... work is still on going but as they say , "Rome wasn't built in a day" we have new fencing, rested fields happy owners and happy horses what more could I ask for?... apart from that new tack room to be finished! This year has been a challenge and its down to my staff and my amazing family that any of my achievements were even possible but the biggest thanks I have to give is to my husband who passed in 2007... if it wasn't for my Stephen none of this would of ever been possible... lets hope I can keep doing him proud and make this business thrive for yeas to come.

As well as providing a friendly, safe and warm environment to keep your horse.
We are not just a livery yard, but a fun and close community that helps and supports each other, as we all ne...ed a little help now and then.
Hagg Hill livery is perfect for people who want a caring and supportive place to keep their horse.
There are a few things that we ask of you:
**You must have common sense around horses, they can be dangerous. **Exercise your horse regularly and keep them healthy. **Have goals and aspirations. **Be willing to learn. **Have a desire to spend time with your horse and take care of them, horses get lonely too. **Understand you have half a tonne Animal in your hands. **Be respectful of your horse, staff and other liveries. **Pay your bills on time. **Don't ask for advise and then ignore it. **Have your own tools, unless you are full livery. **Step the muck heap correctly. **Do your share of poo picking. **Respect the yard rules.
