We had our wedding here on 18th June & I just want to say a massive thank you to Carolina and the rest of the team. They have been absolutely amazing for us from start to finish! Nothing was ever a problem, and with me being such a pest and emailing everyday for about 4 month before the wedding nothing was ever a problem. The wedding breakfast room and also the evening room was everything we wished for and more. Would definitely recommend anyone to have their big day here! The team were constantly making sure me and my husband were okay during the whole day. The complimentary room we got for the night was spot on too, spacious clean and very modern. Cant wait to go back here and enjoy a overnight stay with some food and drinks! Thank you guys you made our day so special x

We attended on sunday for Dinner with Santa, disco and activities. What a brilliant day. The food and hospitality were great. The elves were so friendly and the disco was lots of fun and enjoyed by all. Lovely warm santa and good pressies for the children. We will definitely now make this our family tradition. My daughter and husband were married at this hotel yesterday. It was FANTASTIC!!! the was wedding co-ordinator was amazing. Nothing was a problem to her. Kit was fabulous and made sure that everything ran smoothly during the reception etc. The food was very tasty both during the day and for.the evening reception.

Me and my new husband had our wedding here on sat 16th June 18 and the staff went above and beyond to make sure it was an amazing day and night always on hand especially when my 8 year old had been sick on the floor and my dress nothing was a bother for them the service the food everything was perfect and our stay was amazing too and the staff even rememberered us when we weren't in our wedding atire and even came over and spoke with us thankyou from the bottom of our hearts Claire and Wayne (bride & groom) xxxxxxx

Lovely hotel .great location .comfortable bed . Coffee making facilities and fridge Parking was busy but we always found a space. We found breakfast very expensive so didn't have it.

Had our wedding here last week and have to say a huge thank you to Carolina and the team at the Holiday Inn. Everything was dealt with from start to finish professionally and quickly. The whole experience was made so much easier because the Holiday Inn team took all of our stress away by making sure the whole day was planned and organised for us, resulting in the most special day with fantastic memories we can keep forever. Had arranged a surprise 50th birthday for my partner Lynne. From the very start all the staff were so helpful. ALL my requests were met with very high standards, as for the food on the night, WOW TOP QUALITY and all done to my requested specifications. Great location just one stop on the Metro to Haymarket, booked an executive room which was very comfortable and spacious, had a bit of a problem sorting out the air conditioning but managed eventually. Lovely decor and facilities in the hotel. Parking available FOC. Lovely staff, room was exceptionally clean

I would recommend heat pads behind the bathroom mirrors to stop them from steaming up and also need to upgrade their hairdryers as they were rubbish

Could not recommend this hotel highly enough. We stayed here from may 17 to nov 17 and return once every 6 weeks. the staff are amazing and the hotel is kept spotless. Would never consider staying anywhere else in newcastle.

Been here for over 5 weeks now staff are fantastic always welcoming helpful rooms cleaned to hi standard nothing is too much trouble made my working away from home a lot easier

I paid for a "three course set meal" when I asked for the set menu I was told there wasn't one and just to deduct the money I paid already off the bill from the normal menu. As I didn't fancy pasta or pizza the only real option cost much more. When I complained the head of catering 'explained' that there weren't enough guests to make it worth their while to do a set menu. Charming! Makes you feel so cared for!!!

We were booked up for a party night on sat 23rd Dec a party of 16 staff from Dementia care really looking forward to it, when they told us it was cancelled on Monday 18th Dec because a large party of people had cancelled on them,they decided to cancel the whole night and refund us or offer us a meal in there restaurant and some drinks. Gutted !! devastated !! Is an understatement been booked for months so looking forward to our night out I find this absolutely appalling. BEWARE if booking a party night they will let u down days before no apologies and a few drinks for compensation totally shocking !!
