It's the 1st of December and my Christmas shows have officially begun. I loved performing at Hillside Nursing Home in Romford today. Can't wait till my next show on Sunday 🎄🎋🎁

Some lovely snaps of me performing my We'll Meet Again show at Anisha Grange Care Home in Billericay. This is truly one of my favourites venues to perform at and i love the pictures they managed to get of the show

WOW WOW WOW and that's why I do what I do. I just had one of the most amazing and rewarding experiences in my whole entire life. My 1940's We'll Meet Again Show is a show that helps people re-live a sad but also happy time. It always has an amazing response but this morning truly took my breath away 👌
I was setting up my equipment prior to the show and there was two dementia sufferers who weren't happy at all about me being there. They just wanted silence so an hour of music ...wasn't something they wanted. They asked me to leave and were quite harsh with there words but I know that this is part of the disease they have and I just smile and carry on with my job when it happens. Through the first 3-4 numbers they were shouting at me asking me to turn it off and go home. But I kept going as all the other audience members were loving the show.
Halfway through the show something just switched and they were singing along and dancing in there chairs and thanking me for being there. And this is truly why I do what I do
Music unlocks memories that have completely Gone from people's minds and sometimes music is the only way to get those memories back. I had ladies in tears, couples up dancing, and it truly brought so much joy to my heart 👍
I love love love my job and I love that i help so many people unlock memories they thought would never return 💋

We welcomed holly in yo our nursing home in January she is a lovely professional lady who has a lovely voice and interacts brilliantly with the residents it's so heart warming and very emotionally to see the effects that she had on our residents we will be defenatly inviting her back to see other shows which she dose.

Thank you Holly from all of us at Hutton Village Care Home for a great Xmas concert! Will definitely book you again.
