Very satisfied. My husband and I were there yesterday (18th July). We both had a lovely meal and a couple of drinks. We were so full that we didn't have room for pudding, however I've had pudding in there previously and it was delicious. Not to expensive. Half of the booths have a little television set in the side of them to keep children entertained whilst waiting for the meals to arrive. Great place, food and staff.

Thought we would call in yesterday for a family meal as we had had a busy day! Pleased we did as the food was delicious , hot and well presented and tasted just as good as it looked! The service was lovely and the staff all greeted us with smiles and made us welcome even though they were very busy. We will definitely be returning and I will certainly be recommending to my friends and family. Thank you!

I have give a 5 star rating for the service I received from Sam...Bless him, he was worked to death because on a night when there was easily 100 customers, there was two bar staff?? There was more glass collectors than bar staff?? And even though he was clearly trying to do 50 jobs at once, he served me with a smile, was pleasant and friendly. Sort it out Hungry Horse...Another pair of hands when it's so busy would ultimately bring you more custom.

8 of us went there for lunch on Saturday. The food was lovely and dead reasonably priced. Service was good too.

It's alright for a quick meal before the pictures not some where I would pick for a meal out. Partner ordered fish and chips mostly batter. I had the new Yorker chicken which was edible but would have done better at home - chose both meals as the 9.99 meal for two. I think for future visit will only be for a drink and maybe a burger

We came here afew months ago and really enjoyed the food, so we decided to come again yesterday, well what can i say it was completley different! The food came really quickly but it was not nice! My 5 year old ordered a kids pizza and chips and the pizza was just one of those chicago town microwave pizzas!! And for desert she chose the fruit pot which was one of those little plastic tubs of fruit in preserve that you can buy a pack of 6 from lidl for a pound!! And we paid £5.99 for that kids meal!! And seeing all the staff sat at a table while on their break? Very unproffesional.. needless to say we wont be going back!

Was in with a friend yesterday. We got the curry we paid extra for the popadoms naan bread and onion bahjeys. Curry, rice n chips were ok but very disappointed with the rest of the meal popadoms were like cardboard onion bahjeys tasteless and naan bread eatable. Won't be going back

Visited for lunch today with my husband and hungry baby . Asked one of the staff if you have highchairs and she said she didn't know and would have to ask her manager . I waited... No communication... and waited... then my husband and I went somewhere else with highchairs and much better customer service. Disappointing.

Came in for a few drinks n had to leave after 1 as it's sooo cold, you think management could tell when 1/2 the customers are sat with coats on - even my red wine went cold - sad times!

Bland and beef wasn't nice would maybe try something different next time if we go

We went to the Woolen mill Friday night around about 4.30 for something to eat & a couple of drinks before going to the pictures. I was pleasantly surprised at the happy hour bogoff offers on Blossom Hill wine but decided to have a cider first. When my husband ordered a burger again we were pleasantly surprised at only paying £1 to include a drink. At the bar however I waited ages to be served there was initially nobody behind the bar (5pm) & the poor guy next to me was trying to buy a bottle of champagne but was told he'd had the only one & they didn't have another! I hadn't read the inclusive drinks that came with the burger so didnt get the offer at first , the guy behind the bar was not very customer focused & unhelpful. When my husband went for more drinks, he stood for a while then was ignored by the girl who came to serve & she served somebody who had just got to the bar. He came back with 1 glass as he asked for Rosé wine but didn't specifically ask for Blossom Hill, again this wasn't offered. The bar staff seemed very inexperienced & certainly not customer focused. The young guy serving food was very nice & the chicken burger was nice. We intended to stay until the 8 oclock showing but left at 5.30 & we won't be going in again in a hurry!

This was my first visit and it will be my last.

I can understand the delay (due to lack of staffing) but what I can't accept is the attitude of the lady who was obviously in charge. Rather than politely saying "Could I please ask you all to move to the bar area", she very abruptly said "You'll all have to go into the bar, you're blocking this area", then later on, just as I had been served, there was a customer next to me. The girl behind the bar looked at her and said "You'll have to wait, there's people here been waiting longer than you" and walked off. She had a really poor attitude and needs to go on Customer Service course.



All of this was compounded by the fact that the beer was really poor. I tried Moretti, San Miguel and Stella and they all tasted really flat.



We had planned on staying there all night but we left to go another pub, where the beer was nicer and the staff much friendlier.



Poor service, poor attitude, poor beer.

This is the second time we have tried here and it didn't get any better the second time round! I wish you wouldn't advertise something as baked when it has so obviously been microwaved! (Child's baked potato) the Thai chicken curry with coconut rice looked like it was out of a packet the rice was plain not coconut! Such a shame as some other brand pub/restaurants are very good! For the price I'd rather eat at Macdonalds!!!

The food was almost comically substandard. A roast beef dinner consisted of two perfectly circular slices of slimy processed cardboard, a lump of cheap microwaved instant mash and tasteless peas all swimming in brown water masquerading as gravy. I've never sent food back anywhere, ever, until last night. Frankly, the kitchen staff ought to be embarrassed to serve such stuff up as acceptable pub meals to paying customers. I wouldn't have given it to the dog.



I don't have a dog, but the point stands.



Friendly bar staff (I was offered a no-quibble refund immediately) didn't make up for a joyless experience, sorry to report.

Definitely wouldnвАЩt come here again. Although very busy, staff were rude, very abrupt and one waitress even chucked my plate on the table making a loud bang. Half of the meals were missing things and the food was very very basic, we did ask about the missing ingredients to which the staff replied вАЬOh I donвАЩt know we might have run outвАЭ.

The overall attitude was very noticeable that nobody working there could be bothered. We all regret coming here wasting both our time and money, management clearly need to re train customer service skills.
