Thanks to all the staff at Stocksfield Hall and Port of Blyth who supported the Macmillan Coffee Day last week. A total of £1,144 was raised for the charity selling cakes and supplying tombola prizes. Good fun and a great result!!

Marine Science & Technology students from Newcastle University touring our site at Port of Blyth earlier this week. All part of our initiative to engage with local universities and encourage the next generation of engineers.

Massive congratulations to Ali Masson (with the very long beard) who left IHC EB last year to cycle around the world - starting the tour on 16th Oct 2015. He's just finished the North American leg of his trip to make the total miles covered 13,073! What an achievement. All that remains is to catch a flight back to Edinburgh then ride back to the 'toon'. Safe journey home.

Congratulations to the IHC EB team in QE2 Woodhorn triathlon - all finished in impressive times. Especially well done to Nick Thornton who came 8th overall in the sprint event.

Good luck to the team for the QE2 Woodhorn Museum Triathlon taking place on Sunday 17th July 2016
They will be participating in a mixture of relay teams and individuals over sprint and standard triathlon distances on the day in aid of Marie Curie.
