Initial Spin is a purpose built place where you can learn to drive safely with qualified instructors for any one aged 14 and over

Young Driver Experience is a purpose built floodlit driving arena located at Goosepool House, Durham Tees Valley Airport.

Whether they have driven before or never even sat in the drivers seat, if they are over 14 we can give young drivers the experience of driving a manual car before the legal driving age.

Our unique purpose built arena has been designed to allow 14 to 17 year olds to learn to drive in a manual BMW MINI before they’re let loose on the roads in a safe, traffic-free environment without any pressure. We only take one party at a time, therefore they will have exclusive use of the arena for the session, therefore not only is there no pressure of other road users, but also no pressure of others watching except whoever comes along with them.

Our cars are fully equipped with dual controls and your youngsters will receive easy to follow instructions whilst driving with our experienced and patient trainers in the passenger seat.

We are authorised by the IOPD (International Organisation of Professional Drivers) permitting us to legally and under lawful authority to teach under 17s under Government statutory regulations. We emphasise on putting safety first and protecting our customers, whilst having fun at the same time!
