Jesmond Gardens Primary School Description
Jesmond Gardens Primary School is a now housed in a brand new building and as such has changed its name from Jesmond Road Primary School to Jesmond Gardens. It is an amazing building with wonderful new facilities and in particular ICT, which is the envy of all other schools. As a consequence children thrive because they enjoy school and feel happy, safe and valued. The children develop the confidence, independence and skills they need to be successful learners in a rapidly changing world. The needs of every child is always our prime consideration and we work in close partnership with parents and the whole community.
At Jesmond Gardens we educate the "whole" child by personalising each child's learning experience; and during their time with us the children will enjoy an exciting and enriched curriculum, with plenty of opportunities to take part in special events and extra-curricular activities. The children also benefit from the excellent facilities and resources we have in school, as well as our extensive and pleasant outdoor environment.

Parent Support Drop in sessions are being held in Hartlepool. This is a friendly and informal drop in for parents and carers. All Nursery and Reception children are having a teddy bears picnic tomorrow so they can bring a soft toy/ teddy in.

Reminder: After school today we will be holding a drop-in in the heart to claim lost uniform items. If you are missing something please come and have a look.
There will be no after school clubs on the last two weeks of term.
SPORT DAY
Due to the field being wet, Sports Day for Key Stage 1 and KeyStage 2 will be rescheduled for Friday 22nd June at the sametime. Key Stage 1 9:30-10:30 Year 3/4 11:00-12:00... Year5/6 13:30-14:30

The School Summer Fair is going to be held on the 6th of July in school. We are now taking donations for the fair so please feel free to bring in any bottles, old toys or Bric-a-Brac that you no longer want. We would also love any cakes closer to the time.
