Lovely day in the Legion with some of our longest standing members to celebrate the 94th birthday of this handsome young man. Not our oldest member but certainly one of our liveliest! Happy birthday Billy x

'Classic Swing' are back at Jesmond Legion! This entertaining swing band will be performing every fortnight through February and March on Friday afternoons from 1-3pm in the Veterans Lounge.
Entry is free of charge. Bar will be open for drinks and snacks.

Dark Christmas will return to Jesmond Royal British Legion next week! The show is on Sunday 9th December at 8pm - doors open at 7pm. Discount tickets available to armed forces, veterans and seniors.

The Jesmond Christmas Tree Lighting will be celebrated next week, Wednesday 5th December at 6pm on Acorn Road. There'll be mince pies & mulled wine, Christmas carols and a special service to honour the centenary of WW1. We hope to see you there!

What can i say, the staff are lovely, always feel welcome. .. and i was staggered that my husband got up to dance. .. in nearly 32 years of marriage ...it's never been known x

I called in last Sunday to see if I could get a drink of water for Maggie. I met Bob the club secretary a lovely man who made me very welcome. Thanks for a lovely time I will be back.

Great place i go to the Backgammon Club which is fun and the staff are super cool and friendly

Found this club on a walkaround the around area whilst on a 4 day break. Really pleased I Did. was made very welcome real good beer and a jazz band to entertain.



Didnt think it would be so good a second time , so went to find out it was a quite night but the beer was excellentand the bar staff too and made me feel very welcome.



On leaving I was asked if I would comeback The nice young lady has no need to worry.



I will be ,
