Part of a hallway, landing and stairs we completed last week

From a simple "remove wallpaper and repair/reskim" to an issue where inappropriately installed plasterboard was being damaged by the elements being too close to the outside.
We removed old board, waterproofed, insulated and reboarded and reskimmed. Brand new room which will be loads warmer too!

5 bedrooms we have started so the radiators can be fitted, we have screwed the ceilings and dabbed the walls.
We use every tool available to make sure we get the most square, plumb and level reveals possible. We do several checks before we leave the walls to set.

We protected everything, so no dust. Even made a plastic wall to keep the dust in.

Here is a lovely transformation made down in Dykelands Road, Fulwell,
We overboarded existing ceiling, dot & dabbed the chimney breast to hide wires/pipes and to square it up, and reskimmed the whole room.
We also installed new pine skirting boards to match the rest of the house

A little patching up over at Annie street in fulwell. Removal of old bricks had left a bit of a mess so i was asked to patch it all back to normal.

Another amazing transformation
Here we have tired, cracked, old render which was letting damp into the house
... We where able to remove render from the front, but at the rear, the render was solid. We decided to render and mesh the front, and at the back, we used a specialist base coat render (with mesh) that can be applied to cracked but solid render, we pinned it into the brickwork with plastic plugs, and rendered over.
We then applied a colour matched silicone top coat by Mapei to provide a waterproof yet breathable coating that will last for many years.
NOTE: We mesh ALL of our render systems, to prevent cracks and promote longevity.

What a big transformation and currently our biggest project to date;
We initially planned on stripping the render off of this property due to cracks allowing moisture in, but since the render was on solid, we decided rather than making a mess of the brickwork, we would put a layer of render over the current render, with embedded mesh, then pin it into the brickwork, then render over the top, then finish it with a layer of coloured silicone.
The silicone allows the render to ...breath, but also makes it waterproof. It's also self washing.
We also painted the rest of the house in almost the same colour. The top of the house is painted in Dulux external smooth masonry paint, feather flock, and we matched it using the RAL colour chart with Mapei 1.5mm silicone render topcoat.
The clients are over the moon, the inside of their house is now drying out and we have had countless compliments from passers by!

We initially looked at this property as the client simply wanted the mouldy rotten plaster replaced so she could have the area accessible again due to previous leak. I noticed the cupboard doors left over from a standalone cupboard and offered to build a seemless walk-in wardrobe.

Here's what we have been up to today ... End results tomorrow. It's a built in wardrobe using the doors that where from the free standing cupboard that was removed due to previous damp damage. We've repaired the damaged plaster and installed this frame for the doors, then skimmed them to blend in with the current wall

Just did an excellent job on our front room. Very polite and professional. Did some research for us to give us a choice of insulation products. Skimmed the ceiling and internal walls and put up insulation boards on the surfaces behind external facing walls . Finished everything in two days as promised. Good job. Very Pleased with it. Jonathan visited us several times before he began work, to make sure that we all shared an understanding of the work that needed doing and to make sure he had accurate measurements.



While undertaking the work, he consulted us at intervals to make sure that what he was doing was in line with what we had asked for. He worked efficiently and was very straightforward to deal with. He worked extra time on the last couple of days to get the job finished in reasonable time and stuck to the quotation he had originally given us.



We are very pleased with the outcome and the work has been admired by two of our other regular trades professionals. Thank you Jonathan and Natalie for all your hard work.

Jonathan plastered our living room recently. We had slight problems with small mould patches due to condensation on the two outside walls so Jonathan suggested insulated plasterboard. It was more expensive but so worth the extra money. The difference is unbelievable. The living room is now the warmest room in the house and no more mould. We are well happy.

Jonathan plastered a bedroom and ceiling for me. The walls before hand were awful and in a bad condition. He priced the job very reasonably, did the job when it was convenient for me, was very friendly and courteous and clean and tidy. Would definitely recommend him to anyone.

Jonathan and callum helped me move all of my stuff from my old home to my new home. They were very professional, respectful of my things and very well priced. They are mainly plasterers but they do provide other services too. I will definitely be using Jonathan again in the future!!!!

His quote was very competitive and I agreed to have Jonathan undertake the work.

He arrived bang on time and quietly went about laying a protective cover over floor.

The work was completed to a high standard and everything was cleaned and tidy before he left.

Certainly will use again in fact already sorted a second bit of work out for him
