The Canadian Geese have all grown up and now its hard to tell the parents from the chicks! Here are a few pictures as we have followed them from birth to adulthood.
A bit about the geese - Canada Geese are monogamous and stay with their partner all of their lives. The female generally looks after the young and the male stands guard.
Luckily all 6 original babies survived and have grown rapidly, we will be sad to see them leave. They normally stay as a family unit for a year - pop and see them before they go.

Size really doesn’t matter!
This year we are trying a new gardening concept, called square foot gardening and small space gardening.
We have made our grids from string and canes as our soil has had lots of organic matter added over the past five years.
... The benefits of this system are that it makes you think very carefully about the crops you want to produce and the amount you want to grow - https://tinyurl.com/y7mpde5t
