When your customer has spent too long on the forums

A customer phoned me today to inform me that two other well known transmission companies have told him that regardless of what we say we can’t virginise his Mercedes gearbox ecu. challenge accepted ..............I’ll just leave this here

Nothing like a cheap fix, Vw caravelle six visits back to the garage that left the washers out of the gearbox, almost six months off the road and a cancelled holiday ........ we fitted an exchange box in 24hours gave the gentleman a 2 year warranty and waived another happy customer on his way, sometimes we love our job

A busy week for the guys in the mechatronic department the uk’s biggest independent Vw Audi specialist requires 40 rebuilt and blanked 0am mechatronic units for Monday .. not looking forward to the overtime bill for this lot

I know we harp on about cheap jobs but do you really know what your getting for your money,a failed liquid metal fix ( not ours) vs honed and a stainless steel insert (our fix) get the picture

So this hybrid vehicle is delivered to us needing a transmission, the car was deemed unfit and dangerous to work on, This is a disaster waiting to happen as soon as these wires rub through there will either be a fire or worse someone will loose their life, be safe and responsible it may be more expensive but make sure those working on your electric vehicles are qualified. Your life may depend on it
