We often visit with our son, pretty much weekly and we find it very reasonable. Refreshments aren't bad and they're fairly priced and the soft play itself is great for the little one. We recently had his 1st birthday party here and considering it was a busy Sunday afternoon; with another 2 parties going on, it went really well. We couldn't have asked for anymore. We had 14 kids aged from 5 months-7 years old and every one of them seemed to enjoy themselves. We had friends from out of town comment to say it was really well run and one of the best soft plays they've been to. Staff often get forgotten about so I think they need praising as they set everything up, cleaned up after the little buffet and sorted gift bags, cake cut up, all sorts...total stress free afternoon for me and my hubby so thank you very much.

We had my daughters 3rd birthday party at Jumbo Jim’s this morning and we would highly recommend it to anyone looking to book a play area party.

The venue itself is clean and was set up lovely ready for her party to start. Unlike a lot of the bigger play areas we love Jumbo Jims as you are able to keep your eye on your little ones without having to trail right through the play area as all areas are visible.

The staff were really helpful and gave a courtesy call the day before the party to see how many children were coming and on the day sorted basically everything for us on the day taking in our cake, party bags, balloons, etc. They made our time stress free so we were able to actually socialise with the other parents and children too.

The party lasts 2 hours, we included face painting for the children and they were all really impressed with their chosen designs.

The party food was another positive, a hot and cold buffet that the children all really enjoyed and could all choose something from. There’s a great variety and it was all presented well for the children to choose from.

We would definitely book another party here and recommend this play area to other parents!

My go to place with Isaac if weather is bad, or we are bored of outdoors, his favourite place too! Perfect for all little ones, food is lovely.. and it’s sooooo clean compared to other soft plays. Staff are lovely too!! Highly recommend � xxxx

Lovely soft play for my little ones aged 2 and 4.met my mummy friends there with their kids and had lunch.it was delicious,served quickly,staff was polite and friendly..all areas including toilets where clean and tidy..will deffo come back again and recommend to other friends!!

I’ve been bringing my little boy for probably about a year, he’s a member there and absolutely loves it. The staff are great, they interact brilliantly with the kids and keep the place immaculate,it’s the cleanest soft play I’ve ever been to and I’ve done just about the whole north east soft play circuit over the years. I couldn’t rate the place any better.

I use here all the time as my daughter loves it never had a problem until today, there was a party on which included a face painter which sat in the main hall, ano it's part of the party but with it being in the same room as all the other children it made them want there's done which they weren't aloud I understand that but this caused my daughter and other children upset which led to my daughter crying historically we had to leave after 20 mins, 2 mothers next to me also said there children were upset also, if the face painter had of been in the party room none of children would of been bothered, apart from that it's a lovely �

Had my little boys birthday party here on Sunday, we visit a lot and really love the soft play, however I would not book a party here again, we booked the vip party and had the centre to our selves which was good, however as someone who has worked as a party co-ordinator in a different soft play in the past I didn’t find the staff to do a lot, it is all left up to yourself to keep juice drinks topped up whilst children are eating, hand out party bags, try to round children up to go for some food, they were more interested in tidying up as it is a 4-6 party, I understand staff want to get home but we felt slightly uncomfortable, being asked half way through the party to settle the bill didn’t feel right either, was never once asked if everything was ok with the party, however my son and his friends enjoyed it and that’ is what counts most, allthough I personally wouldn’t book a party here again as Iv had better service else we’re at past parties but we will return to normal soft play sessions �

I attended the halloween party this afternoon with my 6 year old son and his friend, i was shocked to receive upon arrival a cup of juice with a small box that included a small packed lunch for my child (witch was hardly anything and was not enuf to fill any child, also every child got the same thing) witch is not good for those who have allergies (witch my sons friend has) . After paying out £9 i expected my child to get a proper meal ( as after all it was dinner time not lunch time) and they where also suppose to play games (witch did not happen) I am disgusted and will not be returning.

I bought some extra items to put inside the party bags which the staff said they would put in for me. However these were then handed out to children at a different party and I didn't find out until I asked why they weren't in the bags. I bought table confetti for around my son's cake which the staff said they'd take care of but they didn't use it nor did I get it back. They also said they would take care of the cake for me, cutting it up and putting a slice in each party bag. However, the slices were tiny so there must have been at least half a cake left but I wasn't given this back to take home. The time in the soft play was also spoilt for my son who was was just turning 2yr old, by an out of control older child pushing the little tykes car at him deliberately to make him fall over. I say deliberately as he kept doing it and in the absence of his parent or carer doing anything to stop him, my husband had to intervene. More disappointingly, as this was happening outside of the designated play area (and around the tables), I would have thought that the staff should have took responsibly to ensure that car was returned for the designated area, especially given that it was happening not only to my son but other children. I felt on edge the whole time as he was actually running with the car and pushing into children at high speed which could have easily resulted in a serious injury. I also wasn't made aware of the free drinks included in the party until near the end so I didn't get to take advantage of this. The planning/booking process went quite smoothly, the staff were quite pleasant and the food was nice but overall I was very disappointed. I sent some feedback via private message and received an apology, I'm assuming from the manager. He/she asked for my telephone number to call me but never did. I won't be booking another party there.

It’s my daughters 2nd birthday today, so thought we would take her here for a treat, a bit play and some lunch as she loves the play area. Been here many times and never had any issues apart from today, we got our food and it was awful, I got the pulled pork wrap in which I took a couple of bites and had to send it back, as the wrap itself was piping hot and the pork inside was stone cold. They took it back no problem, then brought out the same wrap, even the one I had bitten into! So they had obviously just popped it on high in the microwave, it was disgusting. Safe to say I didn’t eat it the rest of it! I have just come home and feel very ill, hopefully not the start of food poisoning! �... also every time we go my daughter has the same thing... chicken nuggets, mash and beans, she usually loves it and eats the lot, but not today, i couldn’t understand why until I tasted it myself, it was disgusting! I have often visited Jumbo Jim’s with my little boy and have always enjoyed it there until today. £1 for under 1’s I didn’t think was too bad until he turned 1 last week and it just cost me £5 for him to play with the same toys he played with a week ago. That’s an extortionate jump in price when he can’t do anything different to last week and certainly not getting our monies worth like the older kids paying that price. I would understand maybe a £2 jump once they turned 1 but an extra £4 is ridiculous. I think the owners should be careful given the amount of cafes now open with free play areas for kids ���

I have been a loyal customer of this establishment for well over a year now. And never had an issue. Today that was not the case we ordered our meals like we do every time we come and received our meals. Unfortunately there was a hair in one of the sandwiches we didn't kick up a fuss just explained politely to the lady and she took it away just expecting it to be changed. The manager (I think is the manager or owner as she said it was her soft play ) then proceeds to hand us a refund and said there was no hair in the dinner and that we were being difficult. I was dumbfounded and hungry as was really looking forward to lunch so I proceeded to re order another one with my refunded money. The manager then proceeded to find us and inform us that we are not allowed to reorder another sandwich and not allowed to order any food in the establishment. Her customer service skills were utterly shocking and I've never felt so uncomfortable in my life. All we wanted was a sandwich without a hair in it. She then proceeded to stare us out from the counter untill we left. I will not be returning as I do not wish to feel like I do today

After paying out £9 i expected my child to get a proper meal ( as after all it was dinner time not lunch time) and they where also suppose to play games (witch did not happen) I am disgusted and will not be returning.

Nice soft play but I wouldn't recommend it for a party. Had my son's birthday party there in June but it was spoilt by a number of things. I bought some extra items to put inside the party bags which the staff said they would put in for me. However these were then handed out to children at a different party and I didn't find out until I asked why they weren't in the bags. I bought table confetti for around my son's cake which the staff said they'd take care of but they didn't use it nor did I get it back. They also said they would take care of the cake for me, cutting it up and putting a slice in each party bag. However, the slices were tiny so there must have been at least half a cake left but I wasn't given this back to take home. The time in the soft play was also spoilt for my son who was was just turning 2yr old, by an out of control older child pushing the little tykes car at him deliberately to make him fall over. I say deliberately as he kept doing it and in the absence of his parent or carer doing anything to stop him, my husband had to intervene. More disappointingly, as this was happening outside of the designated play area (and around the tables), I would have thought that the staff should have took responsibly to ensure that car was returned for the designated area, especially given that it was happening not only to my son but other children. I felt on edge the whole time as he was actually running with the car and pushing into children at high speed which could have easily resulted in a serious injury. I also wasn't made aware of the free drinks included in the party until near the end so I didn't get to take advantage of this. The planning/booking process went quite smoothly, the staff were quite pleasant and the food was nice but overall I was very disappointed. I sent some feedback via private message and received an apology, I'm assuming from the manager. He/she asked for my telephone number to call me but never did. I won't be booking another party there.

It’s my daughters 2nd birthday today, so thought we would take her here for a treat, a bit play and some lunch as she loves the play area. Been here many times and never had any issues apart from today, we got our food and it was awful, I got the pulled pork wrap in which I took a couple of bites and had to send it back, as the wrap itself was piping hot and the pork inside was stone cold. They took it back no problem, then brought out the same wrap, even the one I had bitten into! So they had obviously just popped it on high in the microwave, it was disgusting. Safe to say I didn’t eat it the rest of it! I have just come home and feel very ill, hopefully not the start of food poisoning! �... also every time we go my daughter has the same thing... chicken nuggets, mash and beans, she usually loves it and eats the lot, but not today, i couldn’t understand why until I tasted it myself, it was disgusting! The chicken nuggets especially were awful. May return for the play at some point, but most certainly NOT the food! ��� a very very disappointed customer

I have often visited Jumbo Jim’s with my little boy and have always enjoyed it there until today. £1 for under 1’s I didn’t think was too bad until he turned 1 last week and it just cost me £5 for him to play with the same toys he played with a week ago. That’s an extortionate jump in price when he can’t do anything different to last week and certainly not getting our monies worth like the older kids paying that price. I would understand maybe a £2 jump once they turned 1 but an extra £4 is ridiculous. I think the owners should be careful given the amount of cafes now open with free play areas for kids ���

I have been a loyal customer of this establishment for well over a year now. And never had an issue. Today that was not the case we ordered our meals like we do every time we come and received our meals. Unfortunately there was a hair in one of the sandwiches we didn't kick up a fuss just explained politely to the lady and she took it away just expecting it to be changed. The manager (I think is the manager or owner as she said it was her soft play ) then proceeds to hand us a refund and said there was no hair in the dinner and that we were being difficult. I was dumbfounded and hungry as was really looking forward to lunch so I proceeded to re order another one with my refunded money. The manager then proceeded to find us and inform us that we are not allowed to reorder another sandwich and not allowed to order any food in the establishment. Her customer service skills were utterly shocking and I've never felt so uncomfortable in my life. All we wanted was a sandwich without a hair in it. She then proceeded to stare us out from the counter untill we left. I will not be returning as I do not wish to feel like I do today

We often visit with our son, pretty much weekly and we find it very reasonable. Refreshments aren't bad and they're fairly priced and the soft play itself is great for the little one. We recently had his 1st birthday party here and considering it was a busy Sunday afternoon; with another 2 parties going on, it went really well. We couldn't have asked for anymore. We had 14 kids aged from 5 months-7 years old and every one of them seemed to enjoy themselves. We had friends from out of town comment to say it was really well run and one of the best soft plays they've been to. Staff often get forgotten about so I think they need praising as they set everything up, cleaned up after the little buffet and sorted gift bags, cake cut up, all sorts...total stress free afternoon for me and my hubby so thank you very much.

We had my daughters 3rd birthday party at Jumbo Jim’s this morning and we would highly recommend it to anyone looking to book a play area party.

The venue itself is clean and was set up lovely ready for her party to start. Unlike a lot of the bigger play areas we love Jumbo Jims as you are able to keep your eye on your little ones without having to trail right through the play area as all areas are visible.

The staff were really helpful and gave a courtesy call the day before the party to see how many children were coming and on the day sorted basically everything for us on the day taking in our cake, party bags, balloons, etc. They made our time stress free so we were able to actually socialise with the other parents and children too.

The party lasts 2 hours, we included face painting for the children and they were all really impressed with their chosen designs.

The party food was another positive, a hot and cold buffet that the children all really enjoyed and could all choose something from. There’s a great variety and it was all presented well for the children to choose from.

We would definitely book another party here and recommend this play area to other parents!

Thank you to the staff today for making our little girls party so perfect, she had the best time - so much so that she really didn’t want to leave! We will be back soon no doubt :)

This is our favourite soft play so decided to have my son's 3rd Birthday party there last week. Easy to book, confirmed numbers for food the day before, they got everything ready in the room, collected presents and cut the cake as i wished. I had no stress and could enjoy my son's day. Kids loved it and food was great. Really good value for money. Thank you!

My go to place with Isaac if weather is bad, or we are bored of outdoors, his favourite place too! Perfect for all little ones, food is lovely.. and it’s sooooo clean compared to other soft plays. Staff are lovely too!! Highly recommend � xxxx

Lovely soft play for my little ones aged 2 and 4.met my mummy friends there with their kids and had lunch.it was delicious,served quickly,staff was polite and friendly..all areas including toilets where clean and tidy..will deffo come back again and recommend to other friends!!

Just had my daughters 3rd birthday party here. First time here. I booked this just on a recommendation. Id highly recommend this place myself. Absolutely spotlessly clean place, helpful staff, good choice of party and worth every penny.

I’ve been bringing my little boy for probably about a year, he’s a member there and absolutely loves it. The staff are great, they interact brilliantly with the kids and keep the place immaculate,it’s the cleanest soft play I’ve ever been to and I’ve done just about the whole north east soft play circuit over the years. I couldn’t rate the place any better.

I had my little girls birthday party here on Saturday and it was brilliant the food was great the staff were lovely and so help full would definitely recommend for birthday party’s

Great place for my 23 month old, he absolutely loved every minute of it, the slides, cars, mini roller coaster, trampoline jungle jim and ball pit are all great and id highly reccomend this place to anyone with toddlers, food was great for him too, will be returning soon!

children enjoyed it would have gave it more had we not been let down by service of the food. waited over 1 hour for 3 kids Meals, and when I asked staff were rude also found it pricey for coffee and snacks expensive day out

We visit here quite often and my son really enjoys this place. We visited today and my gosh some of the staff are so miserable. A question can't even be asked without a unhelpful face being made. It makes me feel uncomfortable as a paying customer.

I use here all the time as my daughter loves it never had a problem until today, there was a party on which included a face painter which sat in the main hall, ano it's part of the party but with it being in the same room as all the other children it made them want there's done which they weren't aloud I understand that but this caused my daughter and other children upset which led to my daughter crying historically we had to leave after 20 mins, 2 mothers next to me also said there children were upset also, if the face painter had of been in the party room none of children would of been bothered, apart from that it's a lovely �

Had my little boys birthday party here on Sunday, we visit a lot and really love the soft play, however I would not book a party here again, we booked the vip party and had the centre to our selves which was good, however as someone who has worked as a party co-ordinator in a different soft play in the past I didn’t find the staff to do a lot, it is all left up to yourself to keep juice drinks topped up whilst children are eating, hand out party bags, try to round children up to go for some food, they were more interested in tidying up as it is a 4-6 party, I understand staff want to get home but we felt slightly uncomfortable, being asked half way through the party to settle the bill didn’t feel right either, was never once asked if everything was ok with the party, however my son and his friends enjoyed it and that’ is what counts most, allthough I personally wouldn’t book a party here again as Iv had better service else we’re at past parties but we will return to normal soft play sessions �
