Come along and join us at our Burnfoot Way Green fun day this Thursday 18th April between 1pm - 3pm .
There's lots in store for all the family, from basketball coaching with the Newcastle Eagles, to community flower planting and even an Easter competition- just bring along a decorated Easter egg to enter!

We are proud to be able to offer our residents a quality in-house hairdressing service, but the salon is also open to members of the public so feel free to drop by!

The benefits of spending time in the great outdoors, for both our physical and mental health, are endless. Karbon has once again partnered with Wayout in Gateshead, giving customers the change to take part in a FREE outdoor activities programme.
Over five Saturdays, from the 11th May to 8th June, you'll have the chance to get stuck in to many different activities, including forest/bush craft, gorge walking, kayaking, mountain biking, orienteering, and hill walking.

The Great British Spring Clean 2019 is here and to celebrate we've put a bit of a twist on things.

With the Easter break just around the corner, we've partnered with the Foundation of Light and Durham County Council to bring you the family learning holiday courses.
From the 9th-12th April, between 9am-1pm, The Foundation of Light is holding a series of healthy cooking workshops at Holyoake Community Centre in South Pelaw.
Designed to help children develop new cooking skills and recognise nutritious healthy meals, whilst adults get tips for cooking on a budget, the worksho...ps are the perfect way for families to spend the holidays!

Did you spot the story in the Northumberland Gazette this week on our partnership with AIM North East?
Thanks to £13,000 of funding from Karbon's 'Investing in Communities' grant scheme, the organisation is celebrating it's first birthday in style by launching a programme to help tackle issues of anti-social behaviour in Hadston and surrounding areas.
We look forward to supporting AIM with the programme over the coming months, a programme that will bring fantastic benefit to our customers in that area as well as the wider community.

We're incredibly proud to have been able to help save Northumberland Domestic Abuse Services from the threat of closure.
Thanks to community donations and a £40,000 grant from Karbon Homes, NDAS is able to continue offering its specialist services to victims of domestic abuse across Northumberland.
We look forward to working with the service going forward, building a strong relationship which will bring benefit to our customers as well as members of the wider Northumberland community.

Karbon Homes have partnered with the Cedarwood Trust to offer Karbon residents living in Meadow Well and North Shields the opportunity to take part in in their latest community training project, ‘Introduction to Community Organising’.

There's just a few days to go until the Planting for the Future drop in session at St Stephen's Community Centre in South Stanley.
If you've ever wanted to grow your own fruit or veg, or if you'd love some help and advice on making your garden something special, this is the event for you!
With support from the Planting for the Future project team, those involved will be able to develop and create a new design for their garden and work together to learn about appropriate plant...s, fruit and veg that they can plant and cultivate.
