Kell'S Dog Minding Description

About Jeremy
I grew up with dogs and now my family have also followed in my parents footsteps in loving all animals and particularly a passion for dogs. I'm at my happiest when out walking, playing and showing them lots of love and affection and my own dog Leo, a Jack Russell Crossbreed has an abundance of walking and exercise which I believe makes him one of the happiest dogs around. I provide the same genuine care to all dogs under my supervision because it comes from the heart as their safety and well being are of the utmost importance. I've not known a dog to return unhappy nor to be honest could I ever imagine it doing so such is my heartfelt level of care. I only mind 1 dog at a time ( unless the additional dog is from the same owner ) so that my individual attention to your dog would not be compromised.
I live in a semi-detached house in the Fairfield area of Stockton-on-Tees with an abundance of beautiful walks and open spaces within minutes of my front door, my favourite being the ' six fields ' in Hartburn. This is my regular 1 hour walk which is almost entirely traffic free ( just 1 road to cross ) and is around 3 miles. I also visit the beach regularly and the various parks which we're fortunate enough to have in close proximity.
Overnight boarding / sitting.
Day care.
Pick up / drop off for small charge.
Walking.

LICENCE UPDATE
Following the Council meeting a few weeks back with fellow Pet Boarding companies this is an update for all my customers present and future. The new legislation being brought in by the Government and the almost doubling of licence fees by the Council is most certainly going to affect my business significantly. As it stands I'm licenced anyway until the end of December so all bookings this year are unaffected.... My application for a new licence has been submitted and the fee for Overnight Boarding paid but thereafter we all have to undergo a new thorough inspection with new very stringent rules and regulations. I foresee that due to my low quota to begin with I'm hoping little will change apart from it costing me significantly more to obtain a licence but in truth, until after my inspection I just don't know and therefore until that is concluded I'm suspending anymore bookings for next year. Those who have already booked for next year I'll keep you all posted as to the outcome as soon as I have it.
One area most certainly decided is that of Day Care. As it stands one licence covers both Day Care and Boarding but under the new regime we have to obtain 2 licences. The licence fee has almost doubled in cost anyway and we'd need to pay the new cost again to obtain a Day Care licence and given most of my custom is overnight boarders it just wouldn't be viable for me and therefore reluctantly I'm having to withdraw the Day Care service. Apologies for any inconvenience caused to potential Day Care customers.
I'll update this statement as the process develops.
Thanks
Jerry

We are now taking bookings for 2019 but for this month regular returning customers have priority. With new legislation possibly being implemented after December places will be at a premium next year so please contact me asap to book your place. New bookings from first time customers can be made from October 1st subject to a successful Meet And Greet. Please note also I've made the decision to raise prices slightly from January 1st 2019. (This is my first increase in 3 years). Thank you for your understanding.

JULY DOGS

Please be careful. Owners rest assured that all my walks are happening early morning / late evening and my walking commitments early afternoon are in the woods from the air conditioned car. No ball throwing during this heatwave and more than enough cold water is provided both on walks and in the house.

I was petrified of leaving my dogs and didn't want to go on holiday at all, but under duress I had to, there was no way they were going in kennels as my dogs spend very little time alone and they need a set amount of cuddle time every day. In my mind no one can possibly look after them like I can. However, I would recommend Jeremy and his family to everyone, he understood my mental disposition about my hounds and put me at ease, I woke up to messages and pictures every day and after walks etc which put my mind at rest constantly. They had a lovely time with Leo (Jeremy's dog) enjoyed all their walks together, sleeps on the sofa, baths, picture time etc I could say great things about Jeremy all day, I would suggest him to anyone and feel happy with them staying with him again. My dogs can be quite shy and they took to him and his wife and daughter really quickly and I trust their instinct more than most humans. Thank you and the family so much.

My girls absolutely love going out with Jerry and the gang.Jerry has also looked after my dogs in his own home when I have not been so well.Great dog minder!

Jerry really does understand how hard it is to leave your loved fur babies with him. So friendly, professional and reassuring. I was so worried and missed them so much but I had no need to. They loved being there and they love him! I received photos, texts and phone calls to tell me what fun they had! Highly recommended. My dogs are both rescue dogs, the youngest being very scared of people but even she settled very well and Jerry was kind and considerate of her feelings and adapted his techniques with her. This man knows dogs and they LOVE him!!!

I have just picked up my dogs after a week away and they are absolutely worn out for their fun here! I couldn't thank you enough for looking after them so well! These aren't just dogs these are our boys and only the best is needed when caring for them and they received that and more here! Daily pictures kept us on ease from missing them like crazy, we had a fun time away knowing we didn't have to worry about the care our dogs were getting! Will definitely recommend to any one!!
