Hi everyone, At the moment due to the cold weather we have a lot of children coming to nursery in big prams. Our buggy cupboard is extremely full on a daily basis and also our entrance hall. Could i please ask parents, where possible to bring your child to nursery in small strollers so that we can accommodate more in the cupboard. Thank you for your help. Mandy.
The 3-4's have been celebrating Chinese new year by tasting some Chinese food and playing in our Chinese restaurant in the role play area 🐲🍜🎉🐷

Elmer’s Great North Parade comes to Kenton Park Nursery School!
Hi everyone! Many of you will already be aware that as part of the Choice Childcare group of nurseries, Kenton Park Nursery School help raise funds for St. Oswalds Hospice. We are committed to giving something back to the community, and to ensuring that our children learn the importance of helping those in society less fortunate than ourselves. The hospice offers care to adults, young people, children and babies ...with incurable conditions across the North East and their families.
Some of you might also remember in 2016, over 160 Snowdog sculptures took over the streets, parks and public spaces of Tyne and Wear, in what was known as the ‘Great North Snowdogs’ trail. This was the most talked about event of the year and now we are all very excited to have been selected to be part of its follow up!
The new art trail in Tyne and Wear will feature an iconic children’s storybook character - ‘Elmer’. The trail will include 60 large Elmers followed by a select few baby Elmer’s, one of which WE have adopted! With your help we need to design and paint our sculpture as Kenton Park Nursery School is part of Elmer’s Great North Parade.
Children at our nursery will be a part of Elmer’s Great North Parade learning programme starting now, featuring exclusive educational opportunities and fun activities for all to participate in. All of our families and children will be invited to take part in our forthcoming events, including design competitions, craft workshops and our very own mini Elmer ‘stomp’.
We would love it if all of you could get imaginative and join in with the BIGGEST art event ever to take place across the region here at Kenton Park Nursery School!

Hi everyone, We would like to wish all our parents and children a merry Christmas and a happy new year. Thank you all for the lovely gifts and cards. Nursery re-opens on Thursday 3rd January. ⛄️🎅🤶
What can I say about this nursery......well all my sons have gone there and my eldest is 8 and my 4 year old has just left to start school. When you have to trust somebody to look after your children you really can't find a better a place. When we left I gave a present which said "thanks for helping us grow" and that is exactly what Mandy, Sandra and all the girls did xx
This nursery was recommended to me when i had my little girl and she loved it even though she is now 7 she still talks about the friends she made and the days she used to have, thats why when i had my son i choose kenton park again the staff are brilliant, friendly, professional they helped him settle in from day one and he looks forward to his days at nursery.
My son went to this nursery from 6 months old til he started school. He absolutely loved it the staff are amazing, he is 11 now and still pops in to say hello every now and again.
My son loves coming to this nursery school. He has been here since he was five months old. I was so worried about leaving my baby to go back to work at such a young age but the staff are absolutely lovely and they went out of their way to help me. I love that the nursery has its own kitchen and a dedicated cook so that all the children's food is freshly made. The staff are so good about taking photos and recording my child's days so I don't feel that I miss out on his development. I would absolutely recommend this nursery.
My son adores it. The staff are all wonderful and lovely and I have complete faith in them. The facilities are great, especially the brilliant little garden - so important to have a safe outdoor space.
My granddaughter Paige (S)has been at this nursery from 2 yrs old, she loves her days with you. I love the seeing the pictures of her, I feel like I get to peep into her little world with you.

Me and my wife put our little boy Zac in the nursery about 6 months ago and we are really pleased with our choice. Every member of staff is brilliant and we feel relaxed leaving Zac in their care.
Kenton Park Nursery have cared for my oldest son since he was 15 months old. He has just started school and I honestly think he is doing so well now thanks to the great head start he had here. My youngest son still attends and the staff continue to be friendly, smiley and helpful. It's never an easy decision to put your children into nursery but I'd definitely recommend Kenton Park for their excellent care of my two sons.

When I was viewing nurseries it really stood out to me because it was evident that the children always came first and that they were genuinely cared for.
Both my little girls have gone to this nursery& I can't say a bad word about the it or the staff. My youngest is dairy and soya free, & she's never made to feel left out at all. Yesterday was her first birthday and the cook has made her a dairy/soya free cake to share with her toddler class, and she's came away with a present and card made by all her friends. Knowing she's happy and safe makes this experience as a mother a lot easier. Thankyou very much to the nursery room!! x
