Part 2 of the seaside

Part 1 of our fantastic time at the beach. The children enjoyed their bus ride very much and happily arrived safely at the sea side. Every child loved the food - Chips, ice lollies and to finish off...they had a brilliant time playing in the park area. Whilst on the sand, they collected seaweeds, pebbles and shells to bring back to nursery for their monthly topic.

What a gorgeous time we are all having on this very spooky Halloween ­¤¦Ö­¤Å╗ŌĆŹŌÖĆ’ĖÅ­¤¦Ö­¤Å╗ŌĆŹŌÖé’ĖÅ...our little people are enjoying fun games and having lots of grub at the monsters table ­¤¦Ö­¤Å╗ŌĆŹŌÖĆ’ĖÅ­¤¦Ö­¤Å╗ŌĆŹŌÖé’ĖÅ­¤ś▒­¤ś ▒ŌØż’ĖÅŌØż’ĖÅ

As the weather is becoming colder and the outdoors normally becomes less used, we have decided to have an outdoor practitioner who will take 3-4 children outdoors for 10 to 20 minute intervals to promote the outdoors in the colder weather.
Annalise has taken a big interest in this and has some fantastic ideas and activities to do with the children.
She will be doing some forest school training and we would really appreciate if anybody has any donations to give us. We would be... looking for natural objects and resources and anything that you do not require anymore that we could use in developing our garden area.
We would ask if you could provide warm outdoor clothing and wellies for your child from October.

This week in Kidz Village we are celebrating Roald Dahl.
We are having a fun dress up day on Thursday 20th September 2018 where staff and children can come to nursery dressed up as their favourite story book character.

ŌĆ£We are very surprised and disappointed about the allegations made by Ms. Bushnall on Facebook last week, but we thank all parents and current employees for their support.
ŌĆ£We purchased the nursery and the business in December last year. Since then we restructured and overhauled the staff team. Our personnel underwent appropriate trainings and have been carrying out their professions according to the required standards.
ŌĆ£Following our purchase we have made significant inves...tment in the facilities, weŌĆÖve made numerous changes to the environment, indoor and outdoor, as well as placed a higher importance on staffŌĆÖs education, both of which have had a great impact on childrenŌĆÖs learning.
ŌĆ£We are very sorry to hear about Ms. BushnallŌĆÖs experience. Unfortunately, Ms. Bushnall did not report any matters to us until April 2018. We immediately invited her to come and meet us as we take safety of our children very seriously. Sadly, she has not taken up our request and the meeting never took place.
ŌĆ£We would like to emphasise that while we are working on making our nursery better every day, parentsŌĆÖ feedback lay at the heart of our operations ŌĆō only their observations can help us carry out actions necessary to resolve any shortcomings.

Hi everyone ... I would just like to say a massive thank you to all the parents who came to the meeting tonight at the nursery. Your support and comments were amazing and very much appreciated. There will be a meeting in the nursery on Monday evening at 6pm for all parents to attend to discuss recent information that has been published in the Hartlepool Mail.
This meeting is to ensure parents are aware that this incident happened when the nursery was banana moon and under no circumstances has anything like this ever happened again.

We now have a new and improved relaxation room for the children.

The babies topic this month is animals and they have been doing activities based on this. They have been looking at their favourite lift the flap book, ŌĆśdear zooŌĆÖ. A sensory tray was made into a safari scene using animal figures and different foods. The children used all their senses to explore this

On Friday 27th July, Kidz Village are holding a teddy bears picnic. We ask that your child bring in a teddy bear and a donation of ┬Ż2.00 to help and support crackerjacks charity. The children will enjoy a picnic in the sunshine ŌśĆ’ĖÅ

The staff at kidz village would like to thank everyone who attended our graduation today we had a fantastic day and best of all the children had fun. We would like to wish all of the children good luck for the future and starting school in September. For the children coming back to us in September we hope you have a lovely time off and look forward to seeing you again for some more fun !

My son Parker has came on so much since starting this nursery last year, the staff are all great with him however I think his personal favourite might be Sue cos he always talks about Sue. His speech has come on so well and his social skills are brilliant and he has gained lots of confidence. He goes 5 mornings a week and looks forward to it everyday.
