Spaces left for Tretty's Tour tomorrow meeting in the Killingworth arms at 1.30pm leaving at 2pm £5 per head. Returning back to the arms for 7pm for the killy arms summer party night

Lovely Night! Great food, nice Staff. Lovely touch getting my meal for free with it being my Birthday, don't know any establishment's who do that. All you have to do is provide proof it's your Birthday. XX

Love going in for a drink and food good also but not happy that today when it's press the button staff let certain people press the button until they get 2 for 1 when previously pressed 4 times and got full price !!!!!!!!

I’ve been coming here for years since Paul Trett took the place over it’s been nothing but outstanding I always have a fantastic meal and the staff couldn’t be nicer Killingworth arms is the place to be for all your dinner outings �

Iv been here twice now while visiting family and the food and service has been great on both occasions. Didnt want anything to eat on my 7hour journey back home to Wales and will definitely be returning on my next visit. Thanks guys

First time here and it was gorgeous, I had mince and dumplings my partner had the brunch, never known food as hot when it came fantadtic food cosy atmosphere we will definitely be back probably next week lol �

I went yesterday with family including my 3 year old grandson. Now in the past when I have bought a child's Meal, it is far to much for him as he only has few spoonfuls . So what I do at the Coach Inn which is a few minutes down the road from Killy arms or the Shire Horse , is ask for another plate then I can take a bit off my plate and put on a plate for him they are extremely accommodating and give me a plate with a Yorkshire on for him ..would you give me a plate at the Killy arms ? No !!! I was shocked I was told by two new members of staff I would have to buy the kids meal!!! Disgraceful..it spoilt our day .. I also stood ten minutes at the bar one other person was getting served and no other barstaff..the food is delicious though thank god that hasn't changed .

Been here a load of times for food and every time has been very nice. My favourite is chicken salad. Great beer garden with a little bouncy castle free for the kids.

Food is lovely. Service however......well this whole malarkey about not giving you a spare plate for a child is RIDICULOUS!!! two children.....one 3 and one 4, bought one carvery between them......refused a spare plate. REGARDLESS of whether you give us a spare plate, we are NOT going to buy an extra carvery. And they are STILL going to share that one carvery. It's you that is losing out because you are severely p#ssing customers off to the point where people don't want to come back!! I actually cleaned my sons place mat and used that as a plate. Even though the boys shared a child's carvery there was still food left! So you want us to pay over a fiver each child.....to then chuck loads of food in the bin. Whoever is responsible for this no spare plate for children crap......get real!!!!!

So yesterday I got served by a woman, I then asked her could I have a baby bowl please... She never answered so a few mins later I asked again. As you would if you never got a reply the first time. She replied soooo snotty and rude 'yes wait a second' in the most disgusting attitude / twisty face manor! I wouldn't speak to a dog in that tone! She still then went on to serve a man behind in the que but thankfully he said well get the lass her bowl what she's asked for first. As he could see me and my 2yr old were patiently waiting to get our carvery. So then she got me one. So just wanted to state that her customer service skills were clearly rude and luckily I bit my tongue as didn't want to cause a scene when really I wanted to tell her how stinking her attitude was!
