Fans of The Bluetones and Inspiral Carpets we have a very special double headline show on April 5th with Mark Morris and Tom Hingley.
Mark Morris will be performing songs from his new album ‘’look up’’ while also playing wonderful renditions from The Bluetones and his solo classics from his 25 year career, expect the likes of Slight Return, If and Blue Tonic.
... Tom Hingley was former frontman of inspiral carpets where he was the lead singer between 1989 and 2011 when the band enjoyed over ten top forty singles such as ‘dragging me down’ , ‘this is how it feels’ and ‘saturn 5’. Tom will be playing a mixture of acoustic originals and inspiral’s hits

We had a great night watching the Counterfeit Beatles. Great atmosphere but needs more seating.

This place is a credit to the Stockton. The owner and the staff have the place boxed off, I come most Friday’s and Saturdays after work with my own staff and friends. Never an ounce of bother great crowd and excellent music, live bands and more than anything affordability. It took 20 mins to clear the place on Friday nite because the chorus to the final song got sang around 37353 times ��. The only thing I'd change is the closing time till as late as poss because it's a shame to have to leave. Keep up the good work, and thanks for a great bank holiday weekend. �

The atmosphere was amazing and the staff were lovely. Had a laugh with the bouncers before we went in and the venue was great. Had an awesome night here.

I'd never been here before and was surprised at how cozy the venue really was in comparison with say The Arc a few hundred yards away. Lovely clean, well maintained and ready to rock despite a moment of difficulty at the door on opening. The show had originally been booked in York and ticket sites had said original tickets were valid whereas the lady on the door was told otherwise. A potentially difficult situation was resolved my an email to the promoter and everyone go in. Thank you very much.

Loved the band but while waiting to leave the doorman sed i was blocking the doorway jus cos i was tryin to get out as others were tryin to get in. Wudnt care but im 9 stone not 19 clem! Mind u hes stopped me from goin in sayin im pissed wen i havent even as a drink. # short man syndrome!

Just seen Jilted Generation at Ku Bar. Awesome fun as usual...

Until I list my wallet....

Which was handed in at the bar and returned to me!

It's definitely the best club around here..the one last place that plays indie/alternative music which I love! The atmosphere is amazing and you very rarely see any trouble

I lost my phone and couldn’t have asked for better help from all the staff- lady bouncer especially. My friend had it all along! Typical ! Everyone was so helpful ���

Great venue for live bands which are adequately priced , bar prices are very reasonable for a captive audience!



Love this place, looking forward to coming again for the next live band!

First time to ku bar and first time seeing The Smiths Ltd.....fantastic venue fantastic band and will definitely be returning

First time and absolutely loved it best night out in a long time great band(s), music and everyone was enjoying themselves, drink prices not to bad also def be going back soon

By far the best place to go in Stockton. I've been going to Ku Bar for nearly 10 years and I've always loved it. Lots of great bands, great music to dance to and a friendly atmosphere. What more could you ask for? :-) Definitely recommend people to give it a try!

Angela and Jimmy have brought the good times back to Stockton!! I love this bar it's my second home!

The best place to go out in Stockton definitely! But the music they play aren't all my taste, some of it is out of date. Wish they could play newer songs. Otherwise I love ku :-)

Only place in teesside that regularly has fantastic cover bands. I may be one of the oldest people going but still love live music! !

Not a bad bar to go to good music and people are awesome

My husband got turned away by your bouncers a couple of weeks ago as your bouncers said he was to drunk to come in, they had watched my husband walk across the road to the bar and said he was staggering, my husband has an illness called MS and this is the reason he walks funny not because he was drunk.. I would certainly recommend that you read up about the Disability Discrimination Act and maybe have your staff go on course rather than try and humiliate people and there condition. Terrible behaviour from members of your staff who are supposed to be there to look after the public!

My boyfriend couldn't get in because he had a striped top on ???? So I asked where it said this on Facebook and their faces were blank until one of them finally (after ignoring me) pointed to a sign saying it... my boyfriend lives in Yarm, do u think he's gonna go to ku bar in Stockton and check the dress code?? Lmaooo Absolutely ridiculous lmao, a joke. Should probably make it clear before u turn people away for wearing a top with a few stripes on xoxo
