User

What a lovely friendly place. Toilets amazingly clean and fresh what a secret gem of a place to have been able to visit today with my partner who took part in your charity event. I will be back to take part in the next one now I'm about to book my first ever fly lesson many thanks for a wonderful time x

User

Went to Langley dam for the first time with a fishing colleague and we really enjoyed our day.

We paid for a full days fishing as well has hiring a boat but due to the inclement weather we only managed a half day on the boat and half a day bank fishing. The fishing was fantastic, the fish are great fighters when hooked, the facilities are good and nice and clean.

A thank you to a fellow angler who gave us some good tips on where to fish and the type of fly needed.

We Will definitely be back its well worth the four hour round trip.

User

We were there for a memorial competition we all had a great day with good sport and the hospitality was excellent too thank you

User

On behalf of my husband George and his friend Harry who dont have (or use facebook):

"This is the first season we've fished this lake, always a good day there. Owners really friendly and helpful. Been several times now. Fish good quality and fit. Went yesterday (26.10.18) and caught 7 which is the most all season, all good sizes and fought well, the ones we released recovered quickly. Will keep coming back"

User

Have had one of the best days fishing, fantastic place to spend the day. Definitely worth more than 5*

Thanks to Anthony for pointing us in the right direction, and will be back soon!!!

User

Great day out. ...lost more fish than usual but had 5 hard fighting rainbows out. first visit but will be a regular now

User

Great day out on the boat or the bank Good fighting fish and nice to get away from it all will be back for more good luck and tight lines

User

First trip to Langley Dam but certainly not my last. Easy to find with great directions on the website, easily accessible walkway round the water, Hard fighting fish. Weather was not kind but the lodge is brilliant and a great place to rest and get warm. Friendly and helpful staff what more could you want. Looking forward to my next visit

User

First time at langley, thought it a stunning location. Had a good day with Anthony Meadows, 15 in total to the boat, although I only landed two of them, theyve got to be the fittest, hardest fighting fish in any of the places ive been to! Wil be making regular trips back, and think it could be one if my favourite fisheries.

Anthony the owner, very friendly too.

Well worth a visit

User

First time I have been here yesterday and haven't fished for 10 years needed to get back into it and glad I came here brilliant location really enjoyed it landed 2 good strong fish gave a good fight I will definitely be coming back regular thanks

User

Fantastic fishery which I would class as one of my favourites! Fred always takes time out to see how the fishing is going and gives you a few pointers. Excellent standard of fish and they fight all day! :-))

User

Excellent 4 hours on the boat today.

It was like a summers day and there were the odd fish rising.

Was tough, but i bagged up and let one go.

Definitely be going back!

User

Cracking fishery. Loved the fact you can get your waders on and go finding the fish instead of standing on a wooden platform waiting for the fish to swim by you. Gorgeous natural lake with very hard fighting fish in it. Will defo be back 👍🏻🎣

User

Cracking fishery,it’s always a pleasure to fish Langley dam it’s well run and full of hard fighting fish.highly recommended!

User

Cracking day Sunday with my mate Tony. Very windy in the morning but calmer in the afternoon. Fish were active and taking on a slow retrieve. Landed two good fighting rainbows 2.1\2lbs and 3.1\4lbs. Tony caught and released a 2 lb rainbow. Excellent venue and it was a pleasure to meet Anthony. The first of many visits this season. Happy days
