Fantastic morning on the Libby 2. What an awesome boat. We set off from Amble at sunrise, it was an amazing sight, just that alone would have been worth the trip. After an icy start we visited several locations including wrecks but the fish were being difficult. The excellent crew weren't deterred, they put in... the miles to give us a great trip and get on the fish. Between the party coley, mackerel, cod, and ling were caught. Not any great numbers but good fish and word has it fishing has been tough lately so hats off to the crew for going the extra mile for us. Excellent banter all morning with fellow group member Duncan along with some cracking banter with the crew. In the end the weather was coming in on us and we headed home. It was getting a bit lively and with no disrespect to anyone (it can happen to any of us) a couple of people began feeling the effects of the sea. Time for a brew and a bacon butty on terra firma. All in all a truly brilliant experience. My first time on the Libby 2 and I'll be back for sure. The number of fish didn't matter to me, it was just a brilliant experience being out there. Yes l'm buzzing like a kid in a sweet shop and I'll probably be buzzing for a week 😊

Not the best day at all. But still a few mackerel, couple of codling, a ling and a pillock holding pollock(sorry jayden but I had to)

Very much weather dependant. But we're looking at doing one of our popular farne trip on this date, we've also worked out how to use the heater if it does get cold 😉

After a few weeks of inclement weather and technicalities were back as sea today with an angling party

We'll what can I say! We all had an excellent day and John was absolutely superb. He supplied hot and cold drinks all day and kept the kids going with biscuits. All the fish were filleted for us too. I would highly recommend this boat to anyone, can't wait till our next trip!

We had a wonderful day onboard LIBBY 2 Charters yesterday getting up close and personal with the TallShips. A once in a lifetime experience!

The sun was shining and we had a fantastic trip round Coquet island taking in some of the coast and seeing puffins and seals one even managed to catch one of fish thrown in. Kids thoroughly enjoyed especially having a go at doing skippers job. All made to feel so welcome and both John and Carl go out of their way to ensure you have an amazing trip and experience. Lovely boat and would highly recommend

THE FRIENDLIEST CREW FROM THE FRIENDLIEST PORT...

The Libby 2 Charter Trip to Sunderland to see the Tall Ships was made extra special by the great service given by the crew. We were given a very warm welcome and once onboard and settled, we soon set off for our journey south. It was incredible seeing the coastline all the way down from Amble to Sunderland and feeling the excitement as we spotted the first Tall Ship. We were so lucky to be a part of this trip, because not only was the weather fantastic and the Tall Ships absolutely awesome, but also everyone onboard was really lovely. Carl in particular was informative, friendly, caring and attentive throughout the trip. What a lovely family. What a great day at sea.

Spot on trip yesterday to the tall ships well worth it only way to see the ships properly boat and crew spot on highly recommended

My kids and I enjoyed a trip around Coquet island to see the puffins and seals. Excellent value for money as we were able to slow right down close to the island and see a seal catch a fish that was thrown to it. Free refreshments and kids given the chance to steer the boat. Both John and Carl do their utmost to make it an enjoyable experience and I would highly recommend this sailing company! Well done lads 10/10 �

Had a fantastic time on our trip from Amble and around Farne Island, seeing the magnificent castles, beautiful scenery and feeding seals. Views were spectacular. Would totally recommend it. The crew were friendly and helpful. Thank you all for a beautiful day �

Great crew and geat catch... and bloody good banter... crew couldnt do enough to help .plenty of tea and coffees . 2nd trip out with these fellas and will now be our regular charter... cheers fellas see you soon

Fantastic sight seeing tour of the coast of Northumberland. Seen dolphins, seals and puffins. The boat itself is absolutely lovely. Would highly recommend...great value and worth every penny ���� will be booking another trip again soon!

John and Carl were fantastic hosts and skippers. And Jayden was a great deckhand.

We had a great day, got to see our beautiful coastline from a perspective many locals never see, and saw some fantastic wildlife, including seals and puffins.

Both John and Carl were very knowledgeable about the landmarks you see on the tour and were fantastic at telling you all about the boat and the gear onboard if it was something that interested you.

The coffee wasn’t half bad either!

Would 110% recommend a Libby 2 trip to anyone, local or tourist you won’t be disappointed.

And I will definitely be booking up for another trip in the future!.

Got to see the dolphins that seem to regularly think the Libby 2 is a cool place to hang around, the same as I’m sure all of its customers do!

Fantastic afternoon on the Liberty boat on our trip around Coquet Island seen some puffins, and got to see some seals and a few close one that took the mackerel that was thrown into the sea, great you can take your own drink, we were offered cans of pop and some for the kids, the kids throughly enjoyed the boat, getting to drive the boat and sight seeing around the island. Would highly recommend at an affordable cost. Thank you for great service.

Fab boat tour for all ages, saw Northumberland wildlife (puffins, seals and even dolphins) right on our door step. Skipper did a great job of finding the right spots for sightseeing and made everyone feel comfortable. Definitely worth every penny can’t wait to explore more of our coastline!!

Cracking days fishing plenty fish aboard codling and mackerel. Skipper cracking bloke filleted most the fish for the lads couldn’t ask for a better trip. Well worth every penny. Will defiantly be back aboard. Highly recommended.

Absolutley amazing day at the tall ships yesterday. The staff are all really friendly and know their stuff. They made sure everyone had the best time. The boats is really clean and lovely too. Will definatley reccomend u guys and we'll be bk for another trip soon

Absolutely cracking day fishing on Libby II. Codling came over the rails all day and quite a few huge mackerel! A lot of the fish were returned safely as we had more than enough. The skipper even filleted most of the fish for us.

As much tea or coffee as you like.

Very comfortable boat.

We'll definitely be back for another trip soon.

Absolutely bloody fantastic trip, we all thoroughly enjoyed outselves, the lads on board are a great bunch, would like to wish them every success with this venture. If you have a chance get yourselves booked for 1 of their trips upto the farne islands, its a great few hours out, was fab to see our coastline from a totally different perspective, looking forward to booking up again soon. 100% recommend.
