Just having a "discussion" with the staff union rep (Lily) about being paid on Friday 24th... I usually pay on the 25th which would kick it to after the bank holiday.
I agree to pay on 24th to stop the bleating, HOWEVER...
... ...why don't people simply save some money and get a month ahead in their finances, to take away all the pressure? British born people don't know how to save.
It's easy, you simply spend less money on shite. But it goes in one ear and out of the other, and everyone reverts to living from payday to payday. It should be compulsory, 5% of income into a compulsory savings account.
If things go tits up, you should have AT LEAST a 6-month cash buffer before you lose your TV, IMHO. Makes life so much more pleasant to have less stress.
Don't anyone tell me you can't save... even the POOREST Chinese people (where I was born) manage to save serious amounts of money, and they earn peanuts. It's a mental attitude.
What's wrong with peoples' brains?

Kia are promoting the e-Niro on TV, but you just can't buy it.
No e-Niro product will be available this year, until during 2020 ..... but no one can be any more precise with that date.
... The 2020 model will be of a different spec and price and it will be late Autumn 2018 before I have any information or be able to quote.
Even then, every dealer will have an allowance of just ONE e-Niro car per quarter to order, so there is little chance of anyone ordering one.
So, what's the point in building this demand using Robert De Niro if no one can get the cars?? Why not be more honest, Kia?
