Went into the Portrack Lane store with mum as she needed new bed.

Kevin served us and he was amazing - friendly, helpful; not pushy but advised us well (knew his stuff) and this meant we got exactly what she wanted.

The price was great and mum says it's a great bed.

The delivery guys were clean, quick and helpful too she said.

Overall amazing service, in my eyes going above and beyond, great staff, great price and great products.

Well done to Linthorpe beds for excellent customer service which these days is sadly near to non-existent which is why when i see a company doing this i like to review.

Went a few months ago and bought a mattress, the assistant helped with our needs and explained the difference between thickness and what springs too use for best comfort. Highly recommend

We needed a new bed for our mobile home - slightly under the normal length but I discovered from the excellent website that they make beds and mattresses to any size. we visited the store and received excellent advice and service. the bed was delivered last week and it is really comfortable. Of course it was more expensive than a regular size bed but it was made to our specification. Highly recommended.

Walked into the shop on my lunch break on Monday with a tight budget and timescale. Received friendly service in the shop and a wide selection of beds within my budget to try. By Wednesday lunchtime (my chosen day) my lovely new mattress was delivered via free delivery straight onto the bed by two cheery and efficient chaps called Luke & Mark. Great service by a local company and cheaper than online.

Ordered my son a divan bed with mattress as his eczema kept flaring up, got given fantastic advice and had the bed approximately 3 months now and thoroughly pleased with it, fantastic price too. Delivery guys also great and put bed together for me, would definitely recommend!!!

Just had delivery of my daughters divan bed... delivery guys excellent managed to get it up my tricky stairs with no issue and set up for her coming home from school (she is mega excited to be getting a new bed) excellent service throughout thanks ��

I had an excellent experience in this shop. Told them what my needs were, they helped me select a mattress and then measured and arranged for a base to the height I acquired so I could transfer from my wheelchair easily. Bought another bed while there to use as a spare for visitors too. When the beds arrived, I couldn't believe that the lads set them up ready to use with headboards on too. What a service, never had that before. To say the delivery lads helped move a double bed upstairs for me before they even started bringing the other two in the house was to say the least, not a problem at all. Over the moon with this company and would use them again. Full marks overall.

Good customer service from Alf in-store. Delivery was quicker than expected. We received a phone call on day of delivery and within five minutes the two delivery men arrived and did a great job putting the bed and headboard together, then disposed of all the packaging and our old bed all in the space of 20 minutes. Excellent service.

Had a problem with a mattress and mattress protector purchased from Linthorpe Bed about 4 years ago and was still under guarantee, but a big thank you to Alf and those involved at Linthorpe Beds Portrack Lane Stockton for bringing the problem to a satisfactory conclusion.

After reading negative reviews decided to try for myself, had good experience in store pleasant salesperson delivery arranged phoned as promised 30 minutes before. Delivery drivers Mark and Luke courteous and pleasant assembled bed and headboard and removed rubbish. Bed hasn't been slept in yet so can't comment on comfort but so far so good. Thankyou

Thank you to both Dave and Mike who delivered and assembled my bed which I ordered from the portrack store. They where a great team together, very courteous and even took all the packaging away with them. Thank you again guys.

Utter rubbish. Go somewhere that knows what they're talking about for your own sake! We explained we need a soft mattress for medical reasons and also had a decent budget to play with. The manager of the shop assured us a certain mattress was as comfy as any we'd find and there was no need to pay more. Sadly we trusted him on his word and neither of us have slept well since. We complained after a few nights and the area rep for the mattress company came out and patronised me with talk about the mattress settling in. All rubbish. At 10 stone in weight and 3 months later if I sleep on my back my lower back doesn't touch the mattress and if I lie on my side my lower back aches from curving. Theres no decent padding over the springs and no real give in the springs. Chased the manager a few times but no joy. The irony is, we wanted to spend more on a better mattress, so we're left with £550 wasted, bags under our eyes and back pain. Please save yourselves the same misery.

Havin not heard from them, phoned them to be told it would arrive on 22nd.Didnt hear from them again so called only to be told that it wasn't in stock and it would come direct from manufacturer in a couple of weeks but they would deliver the bed with the headboard to follow. After a couple of weeks I again phoned them to be told it would definitely be in the following Monday. Hurray!!! On 12th THEY CALLED US to say the headboard had arrived and would be delivered on Wednesday afternoon but I had a hospital appointment so I was asked to call after 4.30 to rearrange. This I did and explained I needed to arrange a different time and was told abruptly ' well you didn't speak to me'!!. Eventually at 5pm on the Thursday the headboard was delivered and was asked if I wanted the delivery guys to assemble it but I declined the offer and did it myself. I am certainly not a 'keyboard warrior' but the service I received after they had taken my money was abysmal and will certainly not be returning.

Not happy with the service that i have received from Linthorpe beds, wish i nevered ordered from them. First of all ordered bed and mattress in store, looked on website when i got home and bed was over a £100 cheaper online, if i never looked i would never of known, got a refund for the price difference said that the web people never told the store. Been waiting two weeks for the bed to come in stock as was meant to be in last week, phoned this morning, they had to phone me back and got told that it will be in next week they had problems finding my order so to me it never went through in first place, by the time i get it it will be 4 weeks, discussing time to wait, not impressed and will not advise anyone to shop here.

Completely let down by a local company. Was told my sons bed would take 2 weeks, 5 weeks later have been told it isn't coming at all. Disappointed is an understatement. My little boy has been waiting weeks.

I understand the issue has occurred due to the supplier but the customer service has been dreadful. Customers shouldn't have to do all the following up and as soon as you suspected there was an issue, i should have been advised to change my order. Bad decision by me to trust your store instead of using next door.
