We went on sat 23rd this panto was brilliant prob one f the best IŌĆÖve seen so funny any body wanting to go get booked ul have a great time

User

Saw Jake Bugg last week and The Libertines last night. What can I say, outstanding performances from both bands/acts as well as the whole event being so well organised. Security were on top form. Roll on Hacienda tonight ’┐Į

User

One of the highlights of the year! Amazing music, amazing vibe, everyone's so helpful as willing to help out with one objective: making sure we as local people can access good music for good prices. Wish I could rate it higher!

User

I would love to experience this again it was FAB!!! Loved the Manics therally enjoyed every second of the show and of course the staff were lovely as well lovely people brilliant night what more could you ask for?? I would loved to have given this event 10/10 shame it's only a 5 but everything was excellent and smooth running no complaints what so ever thank you for the fantastic night out and an enjoyable experience.

User

Great staff Great food

Finished at a reasonable hour to allow us to travel back with the metro. Loved the whole experience, apart from people constantly putting up umbrellas and blocking the view!

User

Brilliant show

My grandchildren's ages went from 3-8 yrs old and the six of them loved it.

My husband and I are both 71 yrs old and were accompanied by our daughter and daughter in law ( in their 40's ).

We appreciated the effort, energy and enthusiasm of the cast and had a lot of laughs.

Well done Panto team - I purchased the tkts because Denise Welch was starring ¤ś│Her replacement was amazing so doubt if DW could possibly have been any better x

Great show .

Best gigs to come to Newcastle in ages.

I attended yesterday's Ocean Colour Scene gig and had a throughly enjoyable time, the second stage in Digital was perfect and allowed us to check on up and coming bands. Hyde and Beast were pretty awesome and throughly deserved their place on the bill.

the Bluetones were awesome, thanks to Mark And Co. Shed Seven absolutely smashed it and were amazing. Ocean Colour Scene were amazing and to hear Mosley Shoals in its entirity was awesome.

My one complaint is there were no Merchandise Stands and no Live From Time Square T-shirts, these would have been amazing and would have added to the atmosphere :)

User

Been 3 times to this event. Twice last year for catfish and the bottlemen and primal scream. And this year for manic street preachers!

What a beautifuly organised event. ┬Ż50 for 4 supports roughly and a main act. Manics had 4 with 2 getting an hour each. Ya don't get that much for ya money usually.

I really hope theses events return next year...... Because they are simply glorious!

Thank you

Atmosphere is amazing. ’┐Į

User

Absolutely loved it, went in 2016 for Ocean Colour Scene and Maximo Park. I thought it was well organised, and loved that you'd got the bars as well as the outdoor facilities, it's the outdoor gigs with the indoor feel (if that makes sense). Can't really get up there for the two weekends in 2017 so booked the hotel and tickets for the 2nd weekend. Really looking forward to it the people in Newcastle are amazing!!

User

Would be much better if you could come and go as you please as once you're in you can only leave... would've came in much later if i knew the act wasn't coming on until 9 after you opened the doors at 6!!!

User

Matthew & Connor were fab. Can't fault the care I was given..

I will repeat what others have said. Drunk people waving cigs about did nothing to help my anxiety. Plus I do think wristbands for coming and going.. Long time to be in a venue especially on your own. Those are the 2 things that would put me off going back.

User

Loved the band, brilliant. Thought the sound was pretty rubbish. We were pretty much bang on middle middle and there was no mix of left and right.

Plus, ppl drinking from 4pm and earlier made for a very shitty audience in parts.

Would still go again but with lower expectations.

User

Good local funny panto only thing i thought, is the seats should of been steeper, so every one could see, best view would be 1st 4/5 rows

User

Fantastic night at the James gig, great venue, just sort the smoking out and you've cracked it. Would have been a 5 if I'd come home without a tab burn in my top. Too many people squashed together and folks were still lighting up.

User

Went to see the panto (oh, yes I did), but the sound was terrible, couldn't hear what was said half of the time, and the seating was laid out in such a way, that you couldn't see the stage at all, so missed lots of play..... sadly I wouldn't go back again

User

┬Ż22 for semi final tickets is steep

User

Really poor quality sound system and everything was geared to making as much money as possible without any regard for the enjoyment of the punters. Once in you're not allowed out, so you're forced to buy overpriced food/drinks.

User

On Sunday me my wife my 5 year old grandson and daughter n son in law went to time square to watch Jack and the beanstalk well all I can say is what a waste of time when I booked the tickets I payed for the lower stalls which were not lower stalls it was a big block of seats which needed to be raised at least 6 inches so that anyone shorter that 6 feet tall could watch the show I'm 5ft 9 inches I wouldn't see at least 70% of the show as the people sat in front of me were roughly at the same height as me my grandson spent the 1st half of the show on my phone as he couldn't see much as the seating was cheap for short people it's the worst panto night of me and family's life
