While making an essential and unpleasant drive through “The Beast from the East” The windscreen wiper arm literally snapped off my elderly 5 series, leaving me unable to see in the blizzard conditions. A quick call to Lloyd’s and they confirmed they had the part in, the service staff stayed back although the weather was worsening, and replaced the whole parallel wiper arm. I could get on and visit my Dad in hospital. 5* service, from Lloyd’s. Thanks very much!

What an amazing dealership! Well worth the 3 hour drive! All the staff are so nice and attentive, the receptionist (sadly I didn’t catch her name) even made sure I had plenty of water for my drive home! Karl Morrison was incredible made the whole experience very memorable, thank you for such a great experience!

The staff here this week were fantastic! In a nightmare scenario, I broke down outside with a flat tyre (not even a BMW!) and the whole team rallied, ordered a tyre in, gave me and my daughter coffee and even a lift to and from Newcastle while it was being repaired. I am so impressed with how they dealt with it all and with no thought of profits to themselves. A huge thank you!!

Cannot fault Lloyd BMW Newcastle. Thoroughly worthy of a 5* rating. Friendly and helpful staff no matter the occasion of your visit. My experience with this garage began when I bought my BMW Z4, recently the vehicle has been in for some repair work and the level of customer service I received from Paul the service manager was second to none. A very fair man who has the customers interests at heart. Very clear that he is customer focussed and is great at delivering a stand out service. Always kept up to date in regards to any developments with the repair so Paul really left a lasting impression of this dealership. As always when I collected my vehicle it was absolutely spotless due to the valet. Would strongly recommend buying a vehicle from this dealer as your paying into the experience as well as the vehicle itself. Should any work need doing you can be confident it will be carried out to a high standard by a service department that are extremely good at what they do.

Came in to have the airbag recall procedure carried out by Lloyd on my old E39 and was pleasantly surprised to receive a health check video via email informing me of some advisory repairs within half an hour of me leaving it with them. I've never seen a garage do this before, so I was impressed. No nonsense, everything sorted by noon. Also received some nice comments about the condition of the car. Polite and professional - full marks.

Very professional team from reception to sales / service staff .

When we purchased our car which was second hand and probably the cheapest in the showroom, we were still made to feel special . Care was taken to ensure the car was right for our needs within our price range.

The manager Ben and Peter Clarke the salesman were very friendly and professional .

When I win the lottery I will be back for the I8 ( thank you Peter for the demo).

Lead into to buying a used BMW to find 6 months down line it needed a major service and was told wen bought the car that it had recently been serviced and would be fine for a year, I bought the car with 24k mileage and little did I know they need a major oil service at 30k mileage, was not expecting to pull out over £400 after 6 months I feel I should of been advised of the up coming cost to this vehicle before agreeing to buy, the service team quoted me £550 for what needed done but wen I checked online and put my registration in it came to £401 for what needed done if I never mentioned this they would of charged me that, the sales guy I bought the car off said he would try get me some discount off the service but then told me that they would not be able to do it, I think this is shocking service from BMW you should be informed of these things before buying a used approved BMW, other then this buying the car went well and the sales rep Dave was a really nice guy to deal with and helped me best he could, my car is due to go in for service on sat Jan 14th 2017 next Saturday if any one from the team can help with my issue give me a call

Took my bmw in for a recall, they kept it over night which wasn’t ideal but didn’t have a choice, picked the car up next day, when I got home noticed 2 massive big oily foot prints on my drivers side carpet ( light grey carpet) when I rang they said 2 weeks to have it cleaned! Really??? Think if it had of been a brand new car they might of been bothered!

The service when you are buying a car is generally good however it is a completely different story after that. My car has just been in for a service, replacement bonnet catch and to fix the washer jets. Took it in Thursday of last week. It wasn’t “ready” until Friday night. It came out with a chipped bonnet edge (which is being denied), the bonnet was positioned too high and the back washer jet still not working! Had to take it back in on Saturday and was told it was “ready” on Tuesday night. Went to pick it up and the bonnet still hadn’t been adjusted properly. Another 30 minutes wait while it went back in the workshop and it was finally right. Six days in total of backwards and forwards to the garage, losing time at work and arranging extra childcare. Not happy at all!

Terrible dealership, went in this weekend with my fiancé with all intentions of buying a new x3 however after wandering around for almost 30 minutes and not one salesperson acknowledging us we went along the road to Audi who couldn’t do enough to help us find a new car which we now pick up on Friday.

I would rate this less to be honest! The sales is amazing, then after that what a load of crap! I took my car in to service in November where I complained my 2nd gear was slipping out to which I was told “no we can’t see that fault it must be your driving” well cheers for that! To then ring me back to say there is infact a fault and it needs repaired, so what did a few men complain so it got dealt with? Cause your service team seem to think women can’t drive!!!

So fast forward my car goes into the garage on Monday morning, to which I’m handed a literal mini bus to drive for the week, so requested a smaller car which wouldn’t drink petrol for fun. Then I finally get to collect my car (with a new gear box) on Friday, yep, a whole 5days without my car... to then break down on the side of the road because, you guessed it, the gear box went!!!!

I have been fobbed off by the service team, then went onto the breakdown recovery, who can’t collect my car for at least 90mins and a replacement won’t get to me for at least 2 hours! So now I am having to miss another days work, and I can guarantee bmw won’t be paying my loss in wages! AVOID!

Great service today, had a low coolant warning light this morning then a new egr cooler fitted 4 hours later, it was left nice and clean and driving like new, as well as those all important words ‘warranty repair’. Thank you �



Update - I'm sad to say that I've had to demote my rating as my wife has received terrible service over the past few days. Total of 6 days to fix a bonnet catch, washer jet and carry out a full service with repeat visits as the work was less than satisfactory as well as new paint chips along the bonnet edge which is being denied, maybe this is part of the service? Total contrast with the service I received, I just don't understand it, sometimes apologies aren't enough ... I'm sure if the amount of labour time that is being charged throughout the day was added up, it would make it look like they have 100 techs working 24hrs ... wouldn't expect this from a franchised dealer at all. As other people have said - sales side, couldn't be nicer, once you're passed that stage good luck as it's often a mess!
