We run a surf school and hire surfboards and wetsuits on Tynemouth Longsands beach. We are by the old swimming pool. Kids club Saturday and Sunday 10am.
Longsands Surf School Description
At Longsands Surf School, we operate a school & club from Tynemouth Longsands beach, situated at the end of the south prom, next to the old swimming pool. .
Our surf instructors are RLSS qualified lifeguards and CRB checked, as well as holding either A. S. I. qualifications (Association of surfing institute) or 'SurfingGB' coaching certificates. For complete beginners, our friendly & encouraging coaching style makes our lessons the perfect start. All equipment is supplied however you will need to bring a large towel & some warm clothing.
