After running the cafe/bar here at Lord Elliotts for a few months, we have realised that another cafe or bar is not what this area wants or needs, although our venue is amazing... However, after running a campaign involving afternoon tea, interest grew and made us realise thats what people want. So we have made the decision to close for a few weeks in order to have a wee makeover and reopen as a Tearoom. We are excited with this decision as this is what we actually pride ours...elves with in our other venue in Newcastle, regularly getting TripAdviser's "Certificate of Excellence" We know you will enjoy what we will have on offer. So keep watching this space as we will be keeping you updated and will announce our reopening date soon.

Well school holidays have started...and we have a new kids menu starting next week 👧👦👶 Will post pictures and confirm when they start.

Visited Lord Elliot’s last Thursday for lunch and cocktails with a couple of friends, gorgeous place,decor is beautiful.
Lunch was amazing and cocktails wow.
Great customer service would highly recommend a visit.

Really nice afternoon tea, childrens menu very good value and the lady who looked after us was very friendly. Looking forward to going back soon!
Nice pub in Shildon with a lovely village atmosphere, would definitely recommend the Lord Elliott’s own beer. Best pint I’ve had in a while.
Lovely food and awesome cocktails, great music, fabulous decor....will deffo go again!! ���
Lovely catch up with friend today decided to give Lord Elliot a try and must say wasn’t disappointed... food was delicious as well as being healthy so that’s a bonus staff very friendly also tried some cocktails omg to die for. Will definitely be returning��
Love the pub already, a bit more expensive than other pubs in the area but excellent quality, and went tonight to try the food... We had the quiche and salad, plus a pizza - all really nice, really well priced and very different to anything else in Shildon. Love the fact that service isn’t rushed and you can enjoy a drink before and after your meal. Glad we have another place to enjoy an evening out in Shildon. Think the Lord Elliott will quickly become our local!!

Just took the family for lunch. The food was great. The service was excellent, tailored my daughters burgers to suit them. Husband enjoyed his burger and pint. My panini was great. Will definitely go again.
Fabulous place great cocktails and food,excellent customer service lovely decor and highly recommend cream tea and cakes. Will be visiting again very soon .
Called in for a couple of pints and a read of my magazine this afternoon, the Portland Stout Porter went down a treat. Nice cool decor and tunes. I didn't have anything to eat but the cakes on display looked lush and the hot food menu made suited the place.
A little gem in Shildon. Lush atmosphere, delicious food, and most importantly, delightful house red Merlot! We'll definitely be back! :)
Very nice burger and chips best I've had for a long time! Spot on for us for a quick lunch at the time, very clean and tidy inside, does a great building credit!
