The Ladies triples was played today but with only 3 teams competing . The eventual winners on the day were Marjorie,Sandie and Gloria. Thanks to Pat Johnson for running the competition.
Playing in the Vets league yesterday afternoon in bright sunshine at Pelton Fell we managed to win 1 rink ,drew one and lost two .Well done everyone.
Playing in the Tens league away to Pelaw B.C. .The Green was a challenge and we only managed to win 1 rink .Well done everyone.
Yesterday we played our annual friendly match against Linton B.C.We played 18 ends of Triples and the final score was 83 -83 .Thanks to Anne and Beatrice for arranging afternoon tea after the match .
A big thank you to Marjorie, Catherine,Carol and Linda for arranging afternoon tea . We also had a number of members friends and members from Ravensworth BC as well .We raised on the day over £600.00 . Many thanks to all who help afterwards to tidy up .
Our Ladies were at home against Consett BC in the Winship league .Another good win and the rain never came .Well done everyone.
Playing in the STL last night against Jarrow BC at Jarrow, we had another good win by winning on 3 rinks . Well done everyone.
Great afternoon playing Rothbury BC in a friendly match however we lost overall by 12 shots .Thanks to our ladies for a lovely afternoon tea .

Playing tonight in the rain against Hebburn Sports in the Marshall’s league . We won 2 rinks and lost 2 but managed to win the match overall .Well done everyone.
We played Heworth B.C. in the Vets league this afternoon and we won 3 rinks and lost 1 but won overall .Well done everyone.

The ladies played a rearranged game this afternoon against Readhead at home, won one lost two and the game. Well done Readhead.
Mixed Triples competition today at the club, our winners this year were Pat Wright, Norman Nicholson & Alf Watson. Well done all.
Winship league tonight away at Pelton Fell. Won Both rinks and the game, well done ladies, and stayed mostly dry.
STL away tonight at Gateshead BC, won one rink draw on another and lost two, lost game overall, hard lines, and very wet!
