Maguires Country Parks is a family owned group of 5 Award Winning Country Parks in the North Of England: Ord House in Berwick Upon Tweed, Forget Me Not in Morpeth, Newbus Grange in Darlington, Swainby in North Yorkshire and our residential park Low Carrs in Durham.

Ord House Country Park has recently been rated the best park in the North East and the best year round park in the country in a vote conducted by 3 prestigious Camping and Caravanning publications.

This 5 star country park, just one of 5 parks independently run and owned by the Maguire family, has scooped many awards since it was first purchased by them in 1981. The team at Ord House are outstanding and these latest accolades are proof of their and the family’s continuing commitment to providing the best possible facilities and environment for their guests.

ORD HOUSE is the largest Maguire park and is set in 44 acres of beautifully landscaped grounds in the heart of the lovely Northumbrian countryside. The park has a real family atmosphere, in a warm and welcoming environment.

For tourers our pitches are generous with electric hook up and drainage and award winning laundry and washroom facilities. Our Wishbone ‘glamping’ lodges sleep up to four people and offer double glazing, lights, plugs and your very own verandah from just £30 per night.

All our guests benefit from the parks extensive facilities, which include: a large childrens playground, a sports field, a lovely woodland dog walk which circles the entire park, and an onsite pub serving delicious, reasonably priced bar meals, both in the family room and adult only lounge.

NEWBUS GRANGE is situated in Neasham on the banks of the River Tees, with shops and pubs just a short stroll away. It is a very peaceful and tranquil park, the birds singing and the breeze whistling through the trees in the beautiful grounds is the only ‘noise’ here. Most certainly a place to revitalise your ‘psyche’.

SWAINBY is set in the North Yorkshire Moors National Park and the views and surroundings here are simply stunning. The pretty archetypal village with its church, river, shops and pubs is right on your doorstep. Swainby is such a lovely place, the whole area will take your breath away.

LOW CARRS is a residential park located just outside historical Durham city. This park is probably suited to the more mature person. The residents have created their own lovely small community and take great pride in the park. Their gardens are a sight to behold.

FORGET ME NOT is the newest of the Maguires Country Parks and is located idyllically at Longhorsley, just a few miles from the historic town of Morpeth and a stones throw from Linden Hall Golf Club. Enjoy the spectacular views of the Simonside and Cheviot Hills as you take a stroll to the Croft family bar to enjoy a home cooked meal or a tasty Sunday lunch.

The Maguire family have a £750, 000 investment planned for their new park, which will see many improvements to the great facilities already offered.
