We go to the Masala on a regular basis and have never had problems with quality,attitude,cleanliness and I really have to say don't believe the negative reviews because in my honest opinion that has to be something underhand about them! Do not take any notice!! Rant over.... now my review



Took some very good friends for an early Xmas get together and what a fantastic experience we all had fantastic food, great service lovely ambience, not rushed in any way and the band members who hadn't tried it before will definitely be taking the time to travel from out of town to go back. Thanks guys for a great night. Brilliant

Really enjoyed going here, ive visited all of the Indian restaurant in Hartlepool and in my opinion this is by far the best. Gorgeous food and very well presented, Everything brought fresh and hot with brilliant service. Cant wait to visit again. Highly Recommend!

Ordered takeaway's tonight and went through, from Billingham, to collect it. Had a Chicken Tikka Masala, Kofte Dupiaza, Chicken Tikka Masala Calzone Naan. All absolutely superb.

I also ordered a Lamb Chittendu, as it was indicated on the takeaway menu with 3 chilies.

I have to say the dish was beautifully cooked but was lacking the spice indicated on the menu.

Customer service excellence, value for money superb, food quality outstanding but my main course disappointed.

Poppadoms, starters, mains and 4 cobras for £34 with the specials menu, bargain! Food was amazing, service was very attentive and considering they had such a large party in we were not forgotten. Very impressed, thank you very much we well be back.

I went to Masala Lounge while I was staying at crimdon dene Hartlepool, as I was recommended by the staff there. I was very impressed by the friendly staff, open spaced environment and by the freshly prepared food I was given, when I next come to Hartlepool I will definitely being coming back, thanks again for a fantastic experience

Went in as a group of 13 couldn't handle the size if the table we were in 3 hours in total and most of us cancelled the main as waited that long no longer was hungry. When mains did start to come out the rice came out about 20 mins before the curry so rice was freezing and 1 lady didn't even get her curry. Very disappointed as the food we did get was really nice. Ran out of vodka they said we had drank a full bottle well between 13 of us what did they expect should have been more organised. Restaurant wasn't that busy only couple of other tables in so no excuse when I eventually asked for a manager I waited a further 15 minutes to have to ask again so they spoke to him in the kitchen and he wouldn't even come out so the waiter came over and wouldn't do anything at all about it just apologised. Very disappointing visit and poor customer service could be amazing if ran efficiently

Not sure what’s happened to this place as we used to go all the time and could not fault it but now the service and waiting time is awful, we got there for 7pm got drinks and then they didn’t take our order till 7.35, got starter at 8pm my onion barji was over cooked ( rock hard ) then waited ages for main meal and they brought the wrong rice but we never said anything because we had waited that long, there was only 6 other diners in there and 2 of them payed and left before they had main meal because they had waited to long, the main meal was nice apart from peppers not cooked, but the service is not good so sorry but we won’t be returning anytime soon, very disappointed

Just had a delivery ordered chicken bhunna

Did not expect raw green peppers and raw spring onion in it made better myself very bland you supposed to have White sliced onion in it and cooked no flavor what so ever think they missed the Spice's out some where disappointed

Will never eat from here again. Waited 2 hours for food to come. When it arrived the curry was not what we asked for and the chicken did not taste like chicken at all. Disgusting meal. Havent stopped being sick since i tried it.

Waste of space!!!! 3hrs waiting for a delivery, wouldn’t even waste your time ordering unless you want to sit about for 3hrs. Told the driver I didn’t want it!!

Waited almost 3hrs for food... eventually gave up waiting and ordered from elsewhere.

Got there for 6 o'clock got starter at 6.45 then an hour and half later got my masala at 8.15 then didn't get my rice until 8.45 by the time I received my rice my masala was frezzing it's absolutely ridiculous. I put a poor review back in october and said I would never go back but it was my sister's partner's birthday and it was his choice or I wouldn't have went cos the same thing happened in october at my mams birthday meal. The serves is shit too I had my starter plate left in fromy of me for over an hour which was only moved because I asked them to take it away paid money for shite. Don't not attend unless u want poor serves and cold food. Also while we were their people came in and they said or 15 mins wait then had a driks and didn't pay fir them and walked out it was that shit FACT!
