It's Taco Night! We had to do a bit of testing on the Sangrita, tequila and Verdita of course. Goodtimes Tacos here from 5pm!

I dont know about you, but whenever Im in Skipton and have a hankering to listen to the Ben Vaughn Combo whilst sipping a quality libation I always head down to Sound Bar. Listening to yesterdays sounds today drinking the beers of tomorrow.

Our resident scran slingers Goodtimes Tacos are back here on Thursday 2nd of August. We will be rolling out the Verdita and Sangrita to go with our new tequila and mezcal selection. They sold out last time so be sure to get down sharp. 5pm start!

This place is awesome!.... small but perfectly formed! The decor is fab just the right level of personal to mass appeal without losing identity! The ale line-up is awesome... some great well loved modern classic breweries: Wild, Pressure Drop, Magic Rock... plus local talent: Almasty. Meaning theres no fear of the "lesser of all evils" pint choice. Love it! Everyone must come here... but not all at once! It is a micro-bar after all!

The best management in Newcastle, so lush and provider of the best Mezcal. Mint beer, good craic, lovely atmosphere and really look after you, even though its busy.

Tasty ales, daft porters and sour sours mean you'll likely to find something you want to drink.

The music playlist is dependent on the mood of the little bloke behind the bar; it's mainly good.

Lovely cozy bar, great atmosphere, great staff fantastic beers and right in the very heart of the city.

Love knowing i have a place so cosey situated up near the top of town. Makes for a great stop off when im crusing down from the hancock. The selection is brilliant and the atmosphere is certainly one of a kind! Really easy going vibe that really opens you up for a good time. Doggos are welcome and the staff are particularly awesome. Will be visiting again as a repeat offender, we even got a free poster on opening that was going spare, already up on the wall ;)

Great pub with friendly staff who really know how to keep beer. Fantastic place to meet old friends and make new ones. No fruit machines, no TV, no problem . Good beer, good cider, good people, good times.
