With a correct understanding of karma, we can learn why things happen to us the way they do and we can change our experiences so that everything can improve. This is invaluable if we want lasting happiness and freedom from long term problems. There will be plenty of time for discussion and questions.
This course is suitable for everyone.

Wonderful friendly and supportive centre suitable for anyone who wants to learn and practice meditation and apply Buddha's teachings in everyday life to help us to be more peaceful and happy and benefit others.

User

They say, "everyone is welcome" and they really mean it, lovely place and people.

User

Such a warm and friendly environment for everyone, from the lay person to the fully fledged Buddhist. Practical teachings that can be applied to your daily life to help with every day problems, stresses and worries - to benefit both ourselves and others around us. Great tea, coffee and cake too at the café!

User

Really helpful, lovely people, helped me find something very special within myself, I'll be very greatful and hopefully a regular attended :)

User

Really enjoyed my first time here today on the "Introduction to meditation" course. I felt it was really informative for a beginner like myself and was very helpful having the guided meditations. Lovely people too.

User

One of the most peaceful places on the planet. Love the teachings and find Dragsten a constant source of inspiration. Would recommend to everyone.

Lovely welcoming place, great coffee and wonderful food. Really enjoyed my morning meeting a friend for a cuppa and ended up having lunch too!

I volunteered at the cafe last summer while unemployed, and really enjoyed it. The gratitude and willingness of people to share and get along made for a very memorable and satisfying experience. I will remember it for a long time.

User

I love coming to the meditation centre. It's a wonderfully peaceful place and I always look forward to the Tuesday lunch time meditation class. Sometimes I stay for lunch too - the food is devine! Thank you to all who volunteer to keep the centre going. Emma

User

I have been to the meditation center 4 times now and each time I am overwhelmed by a sense of peace and tranquility. I am not easily impressed but each time I sit and look at the shrine i feel "I have arrived". I intend to study the teachings of Buddha further in order to understand why I feel so at home with the center and its teachings. The instruction is so simple and yet the understanding and practice is so profound i am blown away.

User

I enjoy the peace and tranquillity I feel when I attend the centre and the harmony the centre generates for all who are there.

User

Have spent many a contemplative hour at the Centre and enjoyed the teachings of Dragden.

User

Great vegan/vegetarian World Peace Cafe with literature on Buddhism. An informative and relaxing place to chill before and after the meditation which is led by a monk. Very reasonable prices. The woman serving is a practising Buddhist and we had a great conversation about the similarities and differences of the Buddhisms we both practise. Great place and I will defo go back.

User

Excellent centre - very accessible by train

Attended Day course and Avalokiteshvara Empowerment, warm welcome & excellent refreshments

User

Beautiful place to be. Very calming and tranquil. I come away feeling totally at peace.
