Sadly, as we get older our eyes become more at risk of ARMD. Regular eye examinations are key to maintain good eye health.

My first visit to this optician having been pretty happy with my previous one in gosforth the parking was just getting to much of a hassle so decided to try Michael Offord.

What a fantastic experience i wanted to wear contact lenses and the optician who was a lovely young lady went into real detail to establish my lifestyle to ensure we went down the correct route

I was then taken to a private room to practice getting to grips with them now my previous optician had sat me out on the shop floor which was really stressful hence I came away without them at that time. The staff member who sat with me was so patient and I did it!! Thank you

My daughter has significant eye problems and we came as new patients to this practice at the end of July.

The treatment we received was excellent . My daughter has anxiety about any kind of medical intervention and she even allowed Mr Offord to remove rogue bottom eyelid lashes!

New glasses were arranged easily and then the input of Cecilia was sensitive and professional. Thanks to the whole team.

We even brought the 88year old grandmother along for new glasses.

Mike has been looking after my eyes for over 40 years and despite living over 60 miles from his practice, I would never consider letting anyone else take care of my vision health. He and his team are professional, caring, friendly and, without doubt, top of the league in terms of their service. Thanks for everything.
