Mick'S Bench Description
Mick Brown died in Sept 2014. He LOVED Whitby, especially the harbour. When he knew he was terminally ill, he asked to have a bench on the East Pier, so he could watch his beloved Whitby go by all the time. He was VERY specific, it HAD to be the East Pier, else he would haunt his wife for the rest of the days.
Since Mick is now unable to travel, we thought, he could have a page, and those who went to Whitby could bring a little of the world to him.
