Your junk is our treasure 👑....we are hoping you can help as we are on the look out for old mobile phones, remote controls, tablets etc and empty perfume bottles. As always we are also still asking for log slices and stumps but also any old flowers that you are about to throw out, for our children to use in the water area and mud kitchen to add colour, scent and make potions. 💐🌸🥀🌹
We would also like to take this opportunity to say a HUGE THANK YOU to everyone who has donated ...resources to our nursery; logs, bricks, clothes, jewellery, suitcases, treasure boxes etc, the list goes on. Everything is much appreciated by all staff and children.
We recently got donated a boat which is currently being used in our sand pit, enhancing the children’s imagination, role play and physical skills. A massive thank you to the couple who donated this 😀😀.
We also continue to work alongside and support Karl and ‘Friends of Doxford Park’ who have been kindly helping us to resource our outdoor area, most recently our nature garden developing a bug hotel 🐞🐛🦟🕷
Thank you all for your continued support From All staff at Mill Hill Nursery School 💖

If anyone has any old keys they wouldn’t mind donating to our upcoming key collection in main nursery they would be much appreciated. We are looking for old, new, big, small, unusual and with or without padlocks. Thank you for your continued support 😀

Hello everyone - hope you are all enjoying the Easter break. Just a post to see if anyone can help. Each half term in the main nursery, we have a collection of objects that we add to our environment for the children to explore. We do this with the aim of helping to develop children's thinking skills as well as their language and communication skills. After Easter we are focusing in on having a collection of pink flowers. We would be grateful if anyone has any that they can spare which we can add to our collection/display. Real flowers if possible either potted or few in water. The more unusual the better too. Thank you and we look forward to welcoming the children back again soon. Meanwhile, have a lovely Easter 🐣🐣

We are very excited in nursery this week, as our eggs arrived on Monday. We have been told that they should start hatching from today ( Wednesday ). The children have enjoyed observing them, creating fabulous drawings and we’ve had some very interesting conversations about what might hatch out of the eggs! Look out for future posts as we will keep you updated. 🐣🐥🐣

The children have had an amazing day sharing their stories with each other, staff and especially some of the pupils from Mill Hill Primary School. If your child did not receive a book token today please let a member of staff know and we will be happy to give you one. Thank you all for your continued support 💖
