I love this sooooo much! Katie came to us and she hated swimming and school lessons. Tonight she smashed 1000m!!! That’s 100 lengths in our pool. A personal goal which she wanted to smash and she truly did. Katie we are super proud of your grit and determination, your desire to achieve and drive to improve. You are leaving us with confidence and we are very proud of what you have achieved. Please don’t be a stranger xxxx

Huge thank you to everyone who sponsored Katie in the Great North Run. 💖 As you know Katie ran in memory of Taylor Atherton. Taylor died suddenly at the age of 14, his parents have set up a foundation in his memory working alongside North East Hearts for Goals to provide as many defibrillators as possible to the local community.

Please see fund raising post below To loose a child at 14 is unimaginable ... Please all dig deep. Having a defibrillator on site is priceless. Hopefully we will never have to use it but should any one need it, it provides you with a fighting chance. This machine would have cost us nearly £1000. Our swimming instructor Katie Luther-Crooks is doing the Great North Run in memory of Taylor Atherton.
Taylor died suddenly at the age of 14, his parents have set up a foundation in his memory working alongside North East Hearts with Goals to provide as many defibrillators as possible to the local community.
Katie is not putting a sponsor form out but anyone who wishes to donate and wish her well in her fund raising would be greatly appreciated. What a fantastic place. Katie started today, and Natalie was so lovely and patient with her. The staff are lovely and the pool and building are immaculate. We loved it.

We think Mini Skool Fishes is excellent my son had been having swimming lessons somewhere else and had a bad experience which really knocked his confidence so much he was frightened to get back in the pool. On his first lesson at Mini Skool Fishes he was so frightened and distressed he just screamed the whole time, Hannah was so patient and calm with him and she didn't give up on him she kept trying, Holly was really friendly and kept talking to him and tried all different ways to make him smile and calm him down. There is also a male instructor who works a Saturday ( I'm sorry I don't know his name ) who offered me and my husband a lot of advice on how to get him back in the water with confidence. By the time we left my son was actually excited to go back and try again he has had 4 lessons now and the difference from his first lesson to now is amazing he more confident and really looks forward to his lesson on a Saturday morning. I am now going to put my daughter on swimming lessons here aswell as me and my husband are so impressed with staff and how the lessons are carried out. Thank you again for all your help and patience. I would highly recommend Mini Skool Fishes.

My son loves it here. He's never been a natural swimmer but Hannah is very patient with him and even laughs at his stories (there are a lot of stories during the lesson!) Can't recommend this place enough!

My daughter is a little nervous about getting in the pool but staff here have made it so much easier for her. They’re so friendly and patient! Highly recommended.

My daughter Ivy is so happy to come here for her weekly lessons. Her instructor, Gab, is patient, funny and gives her so much confidence. Gab makes up actions so she knows how to do the particular swim which she has told me makes it easier for her to understand. Very clean, friendly and relaxed. Would highly recommend.

Micky had his first ever swimming lesson today with Gab and they hit it off straight away (I didn't expect him to willingly interact with a stranger). I was amazed how much Mick loved being in the pool and by the end of the lesson, he was jumping in off the side. He is only two and I certainly wasn't expecting him to be so at ease in a big pool. I definitely felt confident that Micky was in safe hands with Gab. We can't wait to go back next week! Thanks so much Mini Skool Fishes and thank you Gab!

Fantastic pool with fantastic staff. My daughter loves going as it's learning made fun. The instructors have the patience of a saint and a great attitude with the kids. I would most certainly recommend.

Fantastic new business with excellent facilities, the staff are very professional and also really friendly helping the little ones feel so at ease, within 3 weeks I have seen a massive improvement in my daughters swimming , her confidence has built so quick ! Defo a 5� give it a try and you will see what I mean A+ ��

Both my sons attend lessons here, my eldest was very unsure in the water when he first started but his teacher Natalie has been amazing with him - in a very short space of time he has become a confident swimmer who can't wait until his next lesson. My youngest son attends the baby group sessions he enjoys the singing and playing with the toys and his confidence is slowly building. I cannot recommend mini skool fishes highly enough!!

Both my children (five and three year old) swim with Mini Skool and have since it first opened. They love the teachers and are doing so well.

My youngest who is only 3 months also had his first 'tadpoles' lesson with me in the pool this morning and he loved it!

Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Amazing staff, fantastic purpose built facilities! Was greeted straight away and Izzy was the centre of the entire lesson with Natalie and hey built a super relationship quickly. Everything is just designed for children to learn and gain confidence in water! If you want your child to enjoy water and learn to swim, this place is fantastic. My daughter was quickly assessed as needing to brush up some skills so no wasted lessons. All the staff are friendly, approachable and very very child friendly! We will be there for as long as Izzy needs them. We loved the cool pool robot too!!! Keep it up guys, you're doing an amazing job, we hope your word spreads far and wide �

Amazed at the difference in Niamh's ability after just 2 lessons. She has a great rapport with her instructor Gab, and he is super with her. Would recommend to anyone thinking of trying �
