Went here on Saturday 18th March Absolutely awesome , one of the best bars in Durham , wicked atmosphere and even better music, would recommend if you wanna have a good time on a Saturday night

Had a mint night. Music was great and the cocktails made me Dance which is just not me so they must of been good, the wife loved the place, so if she's happy I'm happy too. Can't wait to next week

Brilliant atmosphere within in the club! Night was made by the fantastic DJ and his cracking tunes! Big shout out to the DJ Davie for getting the place bouncing with his beats �

I won the Facebook competition for the Missoula launch party! It was amazing, we were all well looked after and the staff were fab. Love the new decor too! Fab night!

Good and bad, I liked it, great music and a much better atmosphere, tried to give some feedback regarding the two lads working alone behind the smaller bar, but he was very rude and didn't want to know! They were so slow and took ages to get served a lot of people were just walking out! Not sure what the vip was all about we stood in a que then to b told when we got to the front we weren't on guest list, had to show her my email on phone to confirm this, she also was very rude and had no customer service, things like this need to improve to make this a better place x

So I stopped by for a few drinks last night to see what all the fuss was about. The music was great, they had a live drummer who was hammering out some amazing beats. I went to the bar and was served by a very polite gentleman; I asked him for a Hendricks and tonic which cost me £5.80 but was served with LEMON? Since when has Hendricks been served with lemon! Cucumber is the garnish not lemon. If you are gonna charge that for a single g&t at least get your garnish's correct. All in all it was just a more expensive Slug and Lettuce.

Wow! £15 for two double vodkas we left after one drink, decor is lovely but it hasn't changed enough to establish itself as a whole new bar, just an expensive slug, tables outside very dirty and grubby, not enough glass collectors venturing outside in my opinion. The table inside the venue was even worse swimming in drinks with menus pretty much floating in it! Even though I saw a man wearing a headset checking things out at least 4 times pass our table! Jeez Get a cloth or are you above wiping tables now baring in mind it was still early in the night not like 1am when everyone's plastered! All in all a pretty disappointing visit :-/

Visited for the first time on saturday 8th October, nothing much has changed from when it was the Slug and Lettuce. Its been redecorated, new light fittings and new flooring to part but same layout. Ordered a cosmopolitan, at £8, tasted very watery and nothing like a cosmo. Took it back to the bar, another one was made, tasted exactly the same, absolutely nothing like a cosmopolitan. Definitely wont be back for any type of cocktail, not impressed at all and i love my cocktails!

Tried to charge me £10 for a double vodka lemonade then gave me attitude when i said i hadnt paid that 15 minutes ago. Was then charged 3 different prices for the same drink after :/ staff need more training

Have been in the last 2 days, staff ok but only 1 or 2 bar staff on, so if you like waiting upto half an hour, then this is for you, the venue is well decorated and could be so much more!!! Personally i would reccomend going somewhere else, heard other people expressing their dissaproval, the management really need to sort it out. They would make more moey with mre staff on, oh and at times its a queue and then half an our later free for all, all across the bar... get a grip management and manage!

Well Saturday night they wanted to charge £3 to get in before ten, if this is a management policy then they need to give receipts, if this is a doorman extra cash thing then it is illegal. Get it sorted .

Shame the doorstaff have an attitude problem! No atmosphere ridiculous drinks prices and really just an over priced over hyped slug and lettuce at least there is new fabric on the sofas. Safe to say I won't be rushing back.

Same as previous review! Was on guest list looking forward to night out! Waited in line! Checked off a list given a ticket which was then snatched off us by the next doorman. Walked down stairs to a room that looked exactly the same as slug and lettuce! Crowded bars and messy tables! Turned round and walked out!

VIP??? What was that supposed to be?

Ordered an al day breakfast with no hash browns or tomatoes, came with cold chips and no beans (what we had to pay extra for) no butter for the toast, girlfriend had scampi again Cold chips, no staff around anywhere had to ask table next to us for vinegar, no complaint put in as no check back or staff any were is site to be honest, more interested in taking down the Christmas decorations upstairs, on leaving heard another customer complain there was no toilet roll in any of the toilets to the waitress response oh cleaners should of done that this morning..... Disappointed
