MBC has been meeting at Abbeyfields School, Morpeth, since 1989. We’re affiliated with the Baptist Union and the Evangelical Alliance.

At MBC we recognise that everyone is different. Some of us have been Christians for many years. Others are simply exploring what it means to have faith in Jesus. We don’t pretend one style of Sunday service ‘scratches where it itches’ for everyone. Therefore we have a group of preachers and service leaders who lead us in a variety of styles. One thing is consistent: our love for Jesus; our desire to follow His teachings; and our commitment to loving each other in the Church, and those who aren’t. We want you to feel at home with us. We gather each Sunday at 10: 30 for fellowship and we gather for the service at 10: 45. The service ends around 12: 00. We have time for coffee and chat at the end. Some people also gather at 10: 00 for a more contemplative time of prayer and worship, and we also have home groups that run during the week.
