It looks like it’s going to be another beautiful day 😎 As temperatures begin to rise we will notice the adders coming out of hibernation. As the UK’s only venomous snake they are, by nature, a shy and timid creature that will only attack if it feels threatened. They like to bask in warm, sunny spots like coastal paths, sand dunes and open grassy heathlands. If you suspect your pet has been bitten by an adder our advice would be to get them to the vet ASAP

Here is a basket full of French Bulldog puppies to brighten up your day - they certainly did ours 😍

Have you ever wondered what your pet may see when they stay with us for the day? Take a look behind the scenes....

Keep your rabbits and other small furries warm and happy this winter -
Move their hutch indoors if possible or into a shed.
If they need to stay outside, check the position of the hutch is away from any prevailing winds. Cover with an old blanket or duvet to keep out the draughts and to insulate the hutch. Make sure you add plenty of extra bedding.
... Check water bottles regularly in case they freeze. Push the little ball at the end of the nozzle to keep the water moving. Bottle covers are great and can help to keep water from freezing.
Your pet will need more good quality hay during the colder months as they use up more calories to keep warm.
Make sure your hutch is secure as hungry predators can be very persistent at this time of year.
Remember that rabbits don’t hibernate so if your pet seems limp or overly sleepy call the vet ASAP.
Make sure your pets still get plenty of exercise, allow daily access to their runs, indoors or outside.

Meet Wolfie 😍 He is an 18 week old New Zealand Huntaway puppy. Traditionally Huntaways are used for sheep herding in their native country. He is always happy to come in and see us and we look forward to watching him grow ❤️
