Quick trip to Belfast at the weekend for an E46 M3 Vanos. Usual issue with EML on and rattling when hot.

One of 4 #e46 m3 this month is for an engine refresh. New chain and guides, head gasket and big end bearings. Took my e38 728i for a new vanos unit... Steven is a top bloke, easy to talk to and more than happy to help. Very fair prices and the 2 year warranty is a bonus. Would highly recommend to anyone.

Steve done a VANOS unit change over on my E46 M3 today, setup the timing correctly after being massively out, and sorted the valve clearances.

The car is now absolutely silent engine wise and drives fantastic in comparison. Such a difference. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Superb service! Steve came to my house and replaced the Vanos unit and reset the valve clearances on my e46 m3. The car now drives much more smoothly and the engine is noticeably quieter.



Steve came very well prepared with all the tools and parts required for the job and completed the work in just 3 hours. I'm sure he could have done it a lot faster without me constantly chatting with him!



Steve is a fountain of knowledge on all things BMW and "M Power" and a top bloke to boot, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone requiring work done on their car.

Steve replaced the vanos on my e36 m3 and she's never run so sweetly in her life. Fantastic work from a great guy. Kept up to date all the way and even travelled to East Scotland to do it � recommend highly!

Steve replaced the Vanos on my E36 M3 Evo. He drove over 5 hours each way to do it at my house, the vanos replacement and cam timing took him less than 3 hours. Brilliant job, very reasonably priced. Has made a massive difference to the way the car idle and drives, (it was almost undriveable at low speed before, now it's great). Anyone who has vanos issues, don't look at other options - just get Mr Vanos to sort it out.

Steve fixed my e46 m3 a couple of months ago, which had been off the road for over a year. I'd had some ridiculous quotes from other people to replace/fix the vanos unit. and there was also another rattling noise coming from the engine which BMW thought could be coming from the bottom end of the engine and quoted ££££ just to look at it. Turned out it was a loose bolt on the thermostat. All sorted now though! I thought i'd leave it a couple of months to leave a review just in case the rattling came back, but it hasn't. and it has a 24 month warranty anyway, so highly recommended!

Steve did the chain guides, vanos units and rod bearings with arp bolts on the S62 in my E39 M5 back in April. The car was transformed when it came back out, no rattles, more power and smoother power delivery. 7 months later and still running as good as the day it came back.

Most knowledgeable guy when it comes to BMWs I’ve met! Loves what he does (maybe too much) and is a straight talker. Can’t rate steve any higher TBH!

I'd had running issues with e39 m5, car had been to three other "specialists" and nobody could get to bottom of it. Steve was recommended to me and he was confident he could sort it. New timing chains, chain guides and both Vanos units rebuilt. My car is fantastic now, feels like a different car! I wish I had known about this place when I first started having problems with it.

Highly recommended. Attention to detail is second to none, speedy and reliable. Came all the way to King's Lynn to repair our customers Vanos unit. Idles spot on and no longer has the rough vanos noise. Autoleys.

Great help with all the questions I have been asking and for sending me a vanos solenoid unit ASAP would definitely recommend thank you. Big thanks for coming to me to fix my vanos issue and the timing, runs like a dream

Fully booked for weeks and just got back from Scotland but did my water pump on my e60 straight away ..after sales service fantastic what more can you say .. really appreciated

Drove my E46 M3 in and left it with Steve, he loaned me a car so I could get to work and fixed the Vanos unit in 3 days, fantastic work especially seeing how busy he was, price was on budget and car was back to normal again can't recommend him enough

After having my vanos unit replaced at my home address and finding further to that the head gasket also needed replacing. Mr vanos quickly had my car recovered to his workshop and repaired in no time its like a new car now very pleased and can not reccommed mr vanos enough will be using him from now on. �

Absolute workmanship. This must be the No1 place for any BMW whatever your needs. Totally professional and honest, in consultations, diagnostics, knowledge, skill, and cost. I won't be going anywhere else. Anyone looking for quality.. look no further. 11/10 �
