Muddy Monsters is a new parent and toddler class, using friendly monsters to support children to solve problems and be confident to play in the outdoors.
Muddy Monsters Description
Muddy Monsters is a fun filled, messy, muddy activity group for pre-school, fun loving children.
Sessions run in blocks of 5 classes and take place outdoors exploring local woodland and outdoor spaces.
Adventures are organised and delivered by an experiences, trained Early Years teacher, with the aim to increase children's knowledge of the outside world within a safer environment.
Varied, exciting and creative activities capture the children's imagination with the aim to improve personal development.
Each week children are taken on an adventure with a different Muddy Monster character to explore, investigate and discover the outside world.

Every child will have the opportunity to create their own monster pumpkin to take home to scare the family. Easy parking available. Large, private area with toilets available and giant wooden cabin for shelter if required.

The rain brought extra muddy mud to the finale of the Muddy Monsters summer holiday classes and the bubbles decorated the ground π. There were some lovely moist mud pies created and there some definite mud play converts! Thanks for a great summer everyone, Iβm off on my holidays, keep an eye out for the Halloween classes in October half term π
Another fantastic day of Muddy Monsters, this time at Path Head Water Mill. There were lots of βoohsβ and βaahsβ and βwowsβ when the water wheel was spinning. The duck race proved to be super exciting today, with 2 very happy winners. Everyone is very excited about this new location and hope to see more classes there soon. βοΈππ»π¦

Wow! A fabulous day at Lobley Hill Primary School with extra water for splashing which everyone enjoyed βοΈπ¦. There was some fantastic teamwork in the play today which was great to see π. Loads of beautiful magic potions created and a great selection of clay animals, from horses π΄ to ladybirds π! Thanks everyone for a great day πππ»
Lovely sunny day for the first ever classes at Path Head Water Mill, some children found good ways to cool down! π¦π¦ The duck races went well, with only a few ducks mysteriously disappearing into the undergrowth!! despite the fact that daughter doesn't like to be dirty she loves muddy monsters, she has even startedto enjo getting muddy. her baby sister comes along too and finds the mud very tastey!
Went to the half term Ice experiment session today with my two daughters one 3 and the other 2 and they both absolutely loved it. Full of fantastic activities that require them to think, problem solve and learn through play. Highly recommend and will definitely be returning after half term.
We had our first muddy monsters experience today and it was fab! Both of my boys loved it (2&6yrs) and had so much fun exploring and getting mucky, that they both fell asleep on the way home! Perfect natural setting in Saltwell Park and Phil was great with the kids...thanks!
We had a great day at our Muddy Monsters taster session today! My daughter is asking when we're going back so I've booked the Easter special for next week already. Lots of mud, water and outdoor fun. Also still lots to do for the children who are not as keen on getting dirty. Thanks for a brilliant morning!

Took my grandchildren for the first time on Tuesday afternoon we had so much fun they loved it will definitely book again!
Olly and I loved Muddy monsters this morning(apart from the hailstones that is!) We especially loved making our potion, Olly was super duper excited to show his big sister. Can't wait to see what we'll get up to next week x
My son wouldn't touch the mud in week 1 but there was still plenty for him to do. Week 2 and all he wanted was mud. Plenty to do and plenty of space (Social but not standing on each others toes... which suits my son). Lots of fun :)
My son squealed with excitement with this class. Could not recommend enough. Came away a very Happy boy and extremely happy mammy to see his enjoyment.

Had a great class with my twins today. They absolutely loved it and were so keen to tell their Dad all about it this evening. They have also asked for a fire pit for their birthday about 15 times since we got home!
Had a fantastic time on the Easter egg hunt today. Zak is looking forward to the classes starting in April. Lots of lovely activities to inspire little ones to play and explore. Thank you.
Frankie and I had a great time at Muddy Monsters this morning. She loved looking for the eggs and the activities in the garden, especially the mud painting and making me a 'mud dinner'! Can't wait to come back in April!

Fab day at muddy monsters! My two children loved it (although I should have planned a nap before hand because he would have loved it even more than he did) I've just asked my daughter what her favourite part was and she said 'the mud' . Will definitely be booking again for my son when my daughter starts full time school. Thanks again muddy monsters
Excellent value for money, would have paid more as my children thoroughly enjoyed it and Phil interacted with them brillantly!wish i could attend more but kids both in school but will highly recommend to friends!
Despite today's session ending in somewhat freezing wet weather, my daughter is currently up in bed singing the muddy monsters hello and goodbye song at full pelt. So I guess it was a hit once again! (She would have liked to take her potion to bed too but I strongly suggested she leave it on the side.)
Brilliant session today ! 1st time taking my daughter and she loved every min ! Well ran and will be booking again !!
